Here is going to be my split:
monday-cardio
tuesday: legs
wednesday: cardio
thursday: biceps, triceps, shoulders
friday cardio
saturday: cardio
sunday: chest and back
I am hoping to keep it like this for a while. May adjust it and move back to its own day, will see how it works out tomorrow.
Hopefully I will be able to keep the focus and avoid the crap from before that took me outta this for awhile.

New pics will be up here in 2 weeks.
Hopefully I can make some good progress with the diet and weight by then.
Also, diet will be posted each weekday.
Please critique my diet when it is posted and offer any suggestions to get me back on track.

Brian, your goals look attainable to me, and I am very confident that you'll achieve them.
As for the fat free milk, I don't really trust the "fat free" label, because usually they add sugar or something to make it taste better. But I'm not experienced in having those "fat free" foods, so I'll trust your judgement on this.

09-02-2004, 07:28 AM
Bro, you need to do this for you. The motivation needs to come from inside.
As long as you keep posting in here the comments will come. Sometimes people just don't have time to check it out everyday.
BIGBRI
09-02-2004, 09:01 AM
Justin: You are right the motivation for improvement has to come from me and it does.
Maybe I misspoke. What i meant when I made my statement was this, with everything that has happened to me this year, IE: the stroke, another stoke, marriage problems, family problems losing my job...etc. Reading the comments in here helps me to keep up my self image to see that people are interested in what I am doing.
Maybe other people dont care about the comments like i do, when I see the comments it makes me feel better with all the other crap going on, to know that people want to see me succeed.
Again maybe that is just me being weak,

i am thinking of trying one of those NO boosters that improve your vascularity and blood flow.
It is strange even though i am not bulking i am getting bigger and more muscular I seem to be staying at the same weight. Maybe i am losing and then gaining back in muscle not sure.
I definitely want to keep getting bigger and more muscular.
OH also pics are coming in 2 weeks.

hey bro, congrats on the new goals, im sure you'll achieve them. Also, when you mentioned how your weight isnt changing but your looking bigger, i had the same thing happen to me when i first started. I didnt gain much, but looked much bigger. I assume it is loss of fat along with the gain of muscle that causes this. Anyway best of luck man!

Based on your diet, you're getting roughly :
900 calories
17g fat
28g carbs
157g protin
That's asinine. You are near 250lbs, you should be eating way more than that. You're effectively destroying your metabolism by doing this and it's going to end up being antiproductive at some point.
Again, I suggest a diet that looks similar to this :
3000 calories
200g fat
50g carbs
250g protein
Your workouts will be more meaningful and you'll be losing fat, not "weight." After a few weeks you can drop some of the fat and go to 2800 calories.
You need to keep in mind that when you're losing weight, you'll only look better if that majority of it is fat. Otherwise, you're going to look the same, just smaller. Please take heed to my advice, 900 calories is starvation for a man your size and I'd assume your hormones are in shambles as a result.
I'd have to agree with gal brian. I find if I drop cals too low fat loss slows and energy levels drop too much. Good luck!
BIGBRI

BIGBRI

ok.
with the same amount of protein 250? or more
and 200 grams of fat? and 50 carbs?
galileo
09-15-2004, 08:43 AM
250g protein, a minimal amount of carbs 50-100g (considering you are diabetic), and whatever fat you need to hit 2500. That would be from 120g-145g of fat.
BIGBRI
09-15-2004, 12:23 PM
Thanks gal...i will work up to the 2500 calories and see what fat loss i get over the next few weeks and if i am not losing will reduce in 100 cal increments.

goals keep you motivated...he says i am relying too much on the scale and not enough on the mirror...that is BS...i see WAY more changes in the mirror then what show on the scale

well i just learned AGAIN why i dont post on bodybuilding.com
since posting my pictures up there i have been told the following
1. bro get a tan you are as white as the cum i spray on your mamas face
2. i am so fat that i should just commit suicide.
3. and if i have made so much progress to be where i am now i must have really been a fat **** to begin with
4. and this is the worst...that the above comments about my mother and committing suicide were simply constructive criticism.
damn i am glad people are not like that on this board
