It's from the Oregon All-Star game last June. I look hella scrappy in it cause they were pulling us out of double's practices to take them. Just posted so you can put a face on my post's, cause I don't have a digital cam, or a scanner.

I am the left guard on offense right there, #73 across from #57. Kind of gives you an idea that I'm not just 280 pounds of fat! :)

You are a big man! Lucky to be attending the U of Hawaii from a scenery perspective. Is that the University coached by the guy who used to coach the Falcons (his name escapes me right now and it is driving me nuts)?

Congrats on going to Hawaii, great school, great coaches(not to mention it's in HAWAII!). Hawaii got my boys last year (Bama), Chang is tough, and we've got some rebuilding to do. I'm hoping we can schedule another series in the future. Best of luck to you and the Warriors.

Thanks mq, I'm going to start playing there this winter. I hope Chang wins the Heisman this year, he's a sleeper, but if he has a great season, than I think he can. Hopefully by my Junior year we'll join the Pac-10 and tear up some real competition

Thanks Younger. Ya dude, you guys got screwed with those NCAA violation's, that really hurt your recruiting. But hey, a few years from now, you guy's will be stomping Auburn again like same ole same ole.

Good job, 290lbs is huge. I am 6'4 and 220 and people think I am "big". I can't imagine what they think about you.

I used to live in Hawaii, went to Radford and was almost going to attend U of Hawaii, but decided to go to the "mainland". Eventually ended up at UGA.

This was back when the Hawaii team was "rainbows", you guys are the warriors now right? Your team also has the roughest bunch of guys I've seen, tattoos and pony tails (saw the game against alabama last year).

I'm 280, the 290 was a little inflated, but thanks though. I'm glad they changed it from the Rainbows to the Warrior's, a little less politically "active" I guess? :)

About them being rough,... well I'm not afraid too much. :hide:

They spelled your name wrong in the bio on this link:

Ironic a bit because Saul is a very Jewish name and I'm guessing you're Arabic from your name and appearance. Might wanta email them and get it fixed. ;)

What is a "gray shirt athletic scholarship?"

No no no lol. Saul is just a nick name, easier for people to pronounce and "get" than Salah I guess. I am North African by the way.

A grey shirt football scholarship is when you sit out the first semester of school, and then go in and start school the second semester of school. So basically they wanted me to play there, but they did not have a scholarship available in the fall, but in the second semester, they would have one available. So I go in the the second semester and that's when my scholarship starts, and I start with winter conditioning and spring ball. Another benefit is that instead of having 5 years to play 4 years(1 redshirt year), I have 5 and a 1/2 years to play 4.

I did pretty well, I took our league championship for 2 years. I did pretty well at State, but did not take it, well, cause I wasn't really that in to the sport, it was more or less something to do besides lift all the time and stuff. Thanks for compliment bro!
