as long as you are maintaining on that diet it looks fine :) what is it you actually wanted us to assess.

You have teh perfect body and all you gotta do is maintain? ;) Looks fine man, I dont *think* you even have to be as perfect as that for just maintenance. But I could be wrong :)

looks good! just watch out for that 800 calorie swing on days you dont workout.

i'd take that pre workout shake every day (just call it somethin else) so its only a 500 calorie swing

I wouldn't be suggesting dextrose on off days tuttut .

frankm007, why are you just maintaining anyway? As someone mentioned, I don't know if it's necessary to be so strict if you're not really trying to do anything to do your physique.

i want the maintenance diet to have the ability to "with proper training" slowly allow me to gain muscle...:) So i try to have it at 100 or so + maintenance

I think you can safely eat about 500 calories (maybe more) over maintenance and not gain much, if any, fat. Obviously, 100 is safer, but you're also limiting your potential for gains.

How does this look to maintain a specific weight... for me, this is enough to maintain...

Weight: 175lbs
Activity Level: Moderately Active
Total calories: 3700 calories (bodyweight x 21)

Not to hijack this thread, but isnt maintenence suggested to be 15x bodyweight?
So given his weight (as i weigh the same) shouldnt ttl cals should be 2600-2700? as 3700 (21x bodyweight) would be a more appropriate for a bulk considering the activity level?

Maybe he has a fast metabolism. Those formulas aren't consistent at all across individuals.
