I don't keep track of %'s because they are irrelevant.

agreed, ratios aren't that important
on a 2400-3000 calorie cut I do the minimum in terms of grams (50-70g)
and on a 3500-4500 bulk I do what I feel is the optimum amount (80-120)

Im not dead accurate but somewhere around 30% i think. I do all good fats. flax, fish, canola, olive, borage but I havent counted each serving lately. I think with the good fats you can get a way with a higher percentage. I feel too often people forget the importance of fat.. i KNOw if i dont have enough i feel brain dead.

so no other oils or nuts for you?

Corrently between 30-35% on a bulk. Lots of meats, nuts, olive oil(cooking), etc. Mostly nuts though.

When I was cutting, 25-30% of my calories were from fat. This worked well. But whenever I bulk, I don't really keep track of the ratios and calories and everything, I just eat enough so that I gain 1-2 lbs. a week and make sure I eat at least a gram of protein per lb of bodyweight a day (I usually eat around 1.25X though).
