View Full Version : Breakfast protein enough?

Hey everyone -

I want to start working (cardio and weight traning) out in the early morning. I usually work out in the mid to late afternoon. Anyway, a few questions:

Should I eat a little something before I start?
Would a couple of eggs and soy milk be a decent amount of protein to eat after?

I plan to eat some tuna or chicken before I go to bed. And I plan to eat a good amount ofprotein throughout the day.

I would definately have a carb+protein meal before training early morning.

I would rather go with a whey protein post workout. Although the eggs and soy milk would be fine.

If you have protein like eggs, you want to wait at least an hour before doing your training routine...

why do u have to wait an hour after eating eggs ?

Becuase your digestive system will interfere with your workouts if you don't wait at least an hour...

Yeah, if you eat whole food too close to your workout you might end up tasting it again
