Since i am a hardgainer, I am in need of a good high calorie meal replacement that I can have when I am at work. I dont have the time to sit down and eat a half-ass meal. I can only do that when I am at home. Anyways, I tried Gainer Matrix and that seemed to be ok, but where I was getting it from they wanted $100cdn for the big tub of it.

Possibilities: You could find an inexpensive calorie/protein supplement, OR you could make high calorie shakes at home with such things as milk, peanut butter, eggs, ice cream, fruit, oats... you get the idea. I prefer the latter because it tastes better and you know what's in it. Good luck!

Pretty much the same stuff is in most reputable weight gainers. I mean, sure there might be some difference in how they produced it but ultimately its just food. Ground up food.

Get any decent weight gain/protein shake and throw in some ice cream and/or flaxseed oil. Eat a handfull of peanuts with that and you've got yourself a fair few quality calories. Easy enough to do anywhere really. Although I suppose you'd need a fridge for the ice cream and milk...

Ok that being said on Cals and Protein
Should i ever be wary of having too much protein intake?
cause right now I am basing a eating schedule that looks like : 2 protein shakes inbetween breakfast-lunch and then another between lunch-supper
then whatever happens for the 3 meals....
also for the record I weigh arond 160 and am 6'2"

Because my goal isnt so much get a brutal amout of protein as it is to get alot of Calories. Tuna and Chicken are great sources of protein, but in between the meals I am looking for more calories then anythign else....
Is this the right idea or should I be thinking of something else....keep in mind I AM a hardgainer.

2 scoops of any protein powder
2 table spoons of peanut butter
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp flax oil
3 cups of milk

= about 1000 calories give or take a few. Making it 4 scoops of whey would put you around 1300 cals, but I like taking 2 at a time.

Sounds like a great weight gainer. You could add some oats in the too.
