Hello, i was in a shop this afternoon looking at some Creatine powders, when one of the shop attendants aproached me, and told me i was much better off to buy Creatine Cerum, as she claimed it digested easier, was more effective energy wise, and also that Creatine taken over a long period of time was not overly good for the liver and kidneys. Does anybody on here take this stuff, its about $100 for 30 serves, so i want to be certain before i take the plunge, as normal Creatine is obviously much cheaper. Thanks in advance :)

Waste of time, just looking to milk you for all you're worth.

I agree with what they say.

You would properly spell it as serum, and to answer your question, no. If you buy it, consider yourself duped.

Maybe it would be a good ideia to explain the man why he shouldn't buy it.....

Creatine is not stable in a liquid solution and by the time you get it there's very little creatine in it. If I remember correctly it degrades into creatinine, but I could be wrong.

You are correct. The same process happens in your body's natural creatine production. Much of it is converted to creatinine and is considered a waste product by the body.

Ditto.
Read a report on the web a few weeks ago that analyzed quite a number of supplements. They found that most of the protein powders were, for the most part, what they claimed to be.
They found that ALL of the Creatine Monohydrate powders were what they claimed to be.
They found NONE of the three liquids tested to contain any measurable amounts of Creatine.

Now... this concerns me a bit. I mix my creatine into a protein drink in the morning before heading to work, and drink it at around 3pm.
Has it broken down, or is it still good? I have noticed that I'm not getting the "pump" that I was getting while loading (IE, taking a fresh mixture every few hours)

The major down side to liquid creatine is it is very hard to make. If creatine is just mixed in a liquid it starts to breakdown into a waste product (creatinine) after about 20 minutes. So, to make liquid creatine effective the creatine must be stabilized. If the creatine is stabilized it will not break down into a waste product - and it will remain as creatine monohydrate.
