what's ur diet look like.. i think the worst part of dieting is comming up with a meal plan but that's jus me.. it takes me a good 2 weeks on a diet till it doesn't bother me eating the right amount of foods at a certain time.. it just becomes part of my daily routine..

you know what would be really cool is to take a picture of urself everyday with ur shirt off i mean i know that sounds like a lot but i saw someone do that before it's freaken amazing! jus make sure ur pics are in the same spot and u have the same facial expression.. the guy who did this was bald at first then through about picture 20 he had some hair growin through it's amazing to see..

Nog, gl with diet gonnabefit, you and I have similar goals. We are both at the same weight, but I started a little fatter. My goal is probably going to be 230 ish not real sure yet.

It does appear you have made some changes in appearance. You don't look a lot smaller, but you seem to have muscles trying to show through now=muscles getting bigger, fat% getting lower, so weight staying roughly the same right now. Just keep at it bro' and you'll reach your goals faster than you think. Don't let anyone, or anything, get in your way(if someone does let me know and I'll fix that problem right quick ;) ).

I'll agree that your back is more defined than your front.

PS: A little suggestion, when doing your most muscular, bring the arms lower, so we can easily crtique your chest. I can't make a honest critisim with your mm pose since your arms are blocking the view of the chest.

Overall, I'm impressed at what you have done so far. Keep it up! :thumbup:

Nice work so far man.

When I lost a bit of weight i know it helped to take relaxed fron shots of your whole body. Just sit there with some skiveys on and snap a pic every month or so. Then you can put them side by side for comparison. I think you will notice more of a difference in your fat loss this way. Just my $.02

Indeed, last pics I took I was at 280, but I lost them. It can be hard to notice differences at times because you see yourself everyday. But, when you pants get too big and eventually your belt is too big to hold up your pants, it's awesome. Keep up the good work!

GMCTRK: WHY do i have a cheat day??? because sunday through friday i take in less then 100 carbs a day...carbs make up around 10% of my diet most days...and most of the carbs i DO eat come from fiber sources...i have a cheat day to refuel since by saturday i am about to drop dead from lack of energy.

thanks nic...the lady that did my bodyfat test said it was 26.2...the test i had done by the same person in march was 18.5...and i look better then i did in march. she hurried when she was doing the test and half assed. so i dont know what the bf is. I am going to try and do it myself again or go to another club

i did do one on my own with my calipers and i got 21.5. that was tricep, abdomen, hip, quad and chest. all she tested was abdomen, quad and chest.

brianc a little advice don't go running to all these different people they will all tell you different stories about your diet bf etc... stay focused on your diet the utter most important and keep lifting :)

abdomen:28

this came out 20.18

196.35 lean weight
and 49.65 fat weight.

this is what i will use as a gauge. the abdomen came out close to hers..the pec and the leg were both less then what she had

Dude you're lean as hell & I wouldn't doubt you're between 6 and 8%.

Bri, you're doin great man, if you're bf is 20% right now then 15% is attainable by december, HELL, it's attainable in 6 weeks. Keep up the great work man, I'll be waiting to see your abs!

Brian, ever try a UD2 type approach? Or since you're still a little heavy for UD2 maybe try PSMF?

It's hell to go through but the fat melts away. I've lost almost 1lb per day for the last 10 days. I started at 236 and weighed in last night at 226. I lost 5lbs the first day then .5-1lb per day after that so I lost the water weight the first day and everything else is fat. I'm depleted and I look like ****, but my carb load is right around the corner and then I'll look good for a couple days again.

Maybe you could try it until you get down to around 12% then maintain for a week so you can endulge again, then maybe hit the UD2. Might be worth a try and I think it may come quicker than your current diet. I'm not an expert though and I don't want to fcuk up your results, so be sure to research it before you think about switching.

Are you the type that doesn't produce enough insulin, or the type produces too much and you can't break it down fast enough?

I believe that if you were the type that didn't produce enough you could actually possibly lower any shots you have to take until your carb load day, then you may hafta take mroe. I'm not an expert by any means, but you COULD check it out, maybe print it out and take a copy to your doctor for approval or how to arrange your medication around this.

Brian, have you ever used HIIT cardio? Just on a calorie-cycling diet (2 weeks at one caloric level, then 2 weeks with fewer calories, then back up to the orignal number...And so on) and HIIT I lost more fat than the same diet with regular cardio and an EC+EGCG stack. Not to mention I've never felt better than when I was doing HIIT 3x a week. My lifts were good and I felt like I had enough lung capacity to run 50 miles.

And lastly, what's the type diabetes do you have? I'm gonna ask my dr. if psmf or ud2 would be alright with your type diabetes (obviously I'll hafta explain it to him), and if he says it is, you should try it because the weight will just MELT away. In case you haven't been reading mine or Vido's journal, I've lost 32lbs in 12 weeks, and every friday I take in 10,000 calories, Saturday = 3200 calories, and sunday is around 2100 calories. Very feasable dietand as I said, when done right the fat melts off you. You could probably get down to the 200-210 range by christmas on this if it'll work with your diabetes. Get back with me if you're interested man!

jake: i am trying to im you now...lol...type 2 diabetes...i take insulin shots 1 time a day..right now i am at about 2-2.5 per week...i dont want to go as low as 200 i would have to sacrifice muscle to do that...right now i am 238 @18.7 bodyfat..i started out last october at about 275 probably around 30% bf...let me know what you find out...as long as it doesnt kill me being such low carb i may give it a shot...let me know

Just checked out your latest pics and want to tell you that you're doing a good job. No doubt your disciplining yourself and working steadfast toward your goals. You're showing us what persistence really means. Too many times I pick up a muscle magazine and see ads stating "You can have this great body in 6 weeks." That's BS, and the sad thing is that many bodybuilding amateurs fall for it. The real bodybuilders know the meaning of the adage that "Rome wasn't built in a day." Reaching your goals take time and determination and your journey exemplifies that. Nice job and good luck on reaching your goals.

No offence, but I don't think its time for you to think about bulking yet. Cut down until your around 200lbs and then perhaps it's time to start bulking again.

buffster: we all have our opinoins...i am 234@18@ if i get below 200 i will lose muscle...i am stopping at 210-215..i guess you will just have to look at the pics when i am at that weight.

muscles weight more then bf so therefor if you cut to 200 lbs and then bulk you will be the size you are now but with muscles and probably weight a lot more then 200 lbs with muscles.



good work, it really seems like you've dedicated a lot of time into getting more healthy, keep it up man.

rock: lol...yeah psmf is about as hardcore as you can get 1g protein per lbm 6g of fish oil and nothing else...except for the few trace fat and carbs in what you eat
