you could start there...if you aren't gaining add some more, if you are gaining too much cut some back.

I would think is too high. Where did you get that number from? Of course everyone is different though.

Yea man I am pretty big for my size. I was cutting but I messed up somewhere(stalled). I need to to maintain or bulk for a while.

Listen you need to look up on google "basal metabolic rate calculator" enter your stats and go from there. What is your body fat %? that would also help, if you are solid muscle with like 15 below bf% then you need more cals tomaintain but if you are 15% + then less. If you are bulking i would still find out your BMR and go from there adding cals every week untill you are gaining a 1lbs to 3 lbs a week.

197 @ 5'4, what is your body fat looking like? That's a lot of weight for someone your height. I'm not sure how much more weight your frame can carry, so unless your bf is super low I would do a cut.

Most of those BMR calcs are inacurate. Id say im about 15% if not less. But Im just gonna star with the 3000 and go from there.

The prob is I may have stalled in weight loss. I need to maitain for a bit and then cut. I may run with the bulk for a month. Then Ill cut again. I could be eating not enough.
