I seem to be eatting to many carbs, but I am not sure where I can cut them out without ruining the total calories I need (+3000)

instead of cutting them out why not just lower the portion size.

How could I do that.

Actually one thing I can cut out is that bagel in the morning.
It isnt nesseccary since I have Oats and wheat germ about 20 minutes afterwards.

Basically I think all my carbs are from the english muffin (which I but natty Pb on), my morning oats and germ, my sandwich for lunch (subway), and the brown rice... all of these things are really important to eatting cleanly.

So i dont see how I can lower the portion size without 1. being hungry still, and 2. reducing my caloric intake

what are your goals?

Goals: Work out hard, Eat well, Be proud of transforming my body.
Well i was 142 in may I am now 160.

I would like to weigh 170 - 175 lbm

I have been trying to eat around 3000+ calories a day, but it doesnt always happen.

The biggest problem I have is that I get hungry at random times. For example. at 12 i have lunch (a subway sub) and at 2:30 i usually have either mixed nuts, pasta anytime or canned soup (the soup and pasta are getting phased out), so then when i get home at 5 i am really hungry and I eat either tuna, salmon, chicken salad or natty pb on a muffin, then i go to the gym at 6ish and even i am done from teh gym I am not hungry at all (i dont think i can eat after the gym, as i need to force drink a protein shake) and i dont eat again until 8:30 (dinner) and before bed yogurt or CC

well if you are bulking and you are hungry eat up... no need to eat exactly at 3000 calories, unless you are trying to gain at a certain rate and no more then that allotted amount.

How long should I bulk for.

Also should i bulk over my goal of 175 and then cut?
I have never cut in my life, always been too skinny to need to.

bulk until you feel the need to cut, meaning you think you're too fat... fatter then you want to be.

You can get more claories and lower your carbs by eating steak, pork and tons of chicken also you could add olive oil or flaxseed oil to your diet and up the Natural PB intake. Carbs arent to bad but if you eat a bunch i find that i am more hungry when i cut them back at first. How are you looking lean or flabby?

mattburns:
I have been eatting this way since may i have gained 18 pounds.
Unfortuately there was a 3 week period were my diet got messy, and I stopped trying to bulk, but I am back for more now.

Sublime: I eat chicken daily as well as steaks for my dinner (i usually switch between stk and Chiken). I dont eat pork however.
I take Fish oil pills, but they arent that high compared to the Flaxseed oil i was taking earlier this summer. I am very lean, i have never been flabby, but I still think I am taking to many carbs.

Geoff: why do you say that?

fitday doesn't give you enough info, and the layout is poor. (IMHO)

Yeah but it is free and diet organizer is not, i guess we all get in where we fit in. :fart:

Ok bboy but what i am saying is replace the bread and carbs for more chicken and steak.

Do you cook before hand and refrigerate or cook as needed?
