View Full Version : Can I do crunchs everyday at the office???

Is it better that I wait until I go to the gym, or will I gain from doing them at work everyday?? Same goes with pushups (I have to do the girly ones now cause I can't do the manly ones). OR am I just putting too much stress on those muscle groups over the week!?

and about push-ups:

if you're already doing benchpress and chest work, then doing push-ups everyday could very well lead to overtraining.

depends on your goals.
In general, the higher the reps and lower the intensity the faster your body will be able to recover.
If your looking for muscle growth you'd probably be better off doing higher intensity and keeping the reps and sets at a reasonable level. Maybe 6 sets of 8-10 twice per week.
