For most people, increasing your body fat significantly will allow you to pack on mass without getting bad stretch marks, if any ;)

Hi quiksilver9531,

There are various threads on how to reduce stretch marks that have been posted. Do a search under the term stretch marks, specifically in the general health forum and you should find the answer to your question!

Try this link (hopefully it will work) http://www.wannabebigforums.com/search.php?searchid=167176

At the end of the day remember you are weight training and trying to get your muscles to grow larger than they would normally. So it stands to reason your skin will stretch particularly if you are growing at a fast rate.

Some people do view stretch marks as a good thing as it shows you are growing ;)

however, if you do the search above you should be able to find some good ideas on how to reduce them.

Good luck.

I have stretch marks on both my arms and have been using Palmer's Cocoa Butter Cream and Palmer's Cocoa Butter Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks. While my marks haven't gone away, they are far less noticeable than they once were.

Aren't stretch marks pretty much permanent? Sort of like stretching a plastic baggy with your fingers...doesn't really go back?

they wont go away unless you get surgery but they will fade and it shows even less if you have a tan

stretch marks dont go away, as said above. Fattening up; stretches your skin too smarty pants. Theres really no way around it. They fade after about 6 months, im brown so i can barley see mine :D

my stretch marks are horrible. On the inside of both my armpits, it looks like i got slaughtered with a sword. I also have them in the armpits of my legs, aka groin area. I think they are cool, but most people think they are discusting. oh well...

LOL. Me too. And just when they start fading, I get more, even bigger. Oh well, its not like I'm going to shrink anytime soon.

They faded really well during the summer, but now that I've restarted lifting I'm getting them back, they're now passing my biceps and wrap around my armpits to my back and a little on my back, crotch, back of calves, over pectorals and I've just learned to deal with it, they all fade eventually.
