Hey guys, can you suggest any good, healthy cereals that I could eat for breakfast or a snack. But I want to be able to buy it a regular food store. And also have you every tried those carb/starch blockers, they are chewable tabs?

My top-3
-Total (overall  healthy, 100% calcium)
-Special K (overall  healthy, good protein)
-Frosted Mini Wheats (overall  healthy, good fiber)
Also, oatmeal is really good.

Fiber one is good...especially on salads and the like.
Cereals are processed high GI carbs...eat oatmeal.

KASHI!!!! honey roasted oat cereal... They have it in regular supermarkets now.
Has fiber, vitamin and minerals, only sweetners are natural from honey. 100% organic and it actually tastes good!

Hey vido, what about Total Protein cereal. And also, if your eating cereal that is wheat, I thought that was a "good" carb since its not bleached.
Nothing processed is going to be as good for you as something that isn't. Obviously, cereal is healthier than a breakfast of donuts and coffee, it just depends how "good" and "healthy" you want your diet to be.
I'm not familiar with Total Protein cereal, but I never consider cereal a good source of protein, regardless of how much it has in it.

Oh I'm not looking to get my protein from cereal. I would eat egg whites along with the cereal. I'm just looking for a good healthy cereal to go along with my egg whites.

I just bought a box of "northern gold" granola original honey almond. a 1/2 cup of this with a 1/2 cup of skim milk = 290 calories, 36g total carbs, 5g dietary fiber, 8g sugars, 7g protein.
Ingrediants: Whole Oats, Brown Sugar, Soybean Oil, Almonds, Honey, Sesame Seeds, and Natural Flavor.
This tastes good and is a good change of pace from hot oatmeal.
