iff u eat under your maintenance are u gonna lose weight still, no matter how many carbs u have, im tryna understand what carbs actually do to stop u losing weight, but say for ex, cutting u eat 1800 cals/100g carbs, would u get the same affect from say 1800cals/150g carbs?
The most important macronutrient when cutting (well when bulking I guess too, but especially for cutting) is protein. It is what allows you to keep what muscle you already have when your body is in a caloric deficit. Keeping calories constant, the more carbs you have, the less protein you have, and therefore the higher the muscle/fat loss ratio will probably become. That's pretty simplified, but should give you something to work with.
