has anyone out there tried to make a weight gainer that works and tastes good?what did you put in it?

and am i right in saying that to gain weight you need to take in more calories that you burn?

Yes, to gain weight you need to take in more calories than you burn.

You can throw basically whatever you want into a blender to make your own "weightgainer": oats, protein powder, natty pb, milk, fruit, olive or flax oil

Pretty much any weightgainer you're going to make will work "better" than a store bought one which is just sugar/protein. Making a delicious weightgainer is really easy throw in whatever you want (Vido already made some good suggestions) but you can add ice cream, yogurt, cottage cheese, natural PB, nesquik, bananas, anything really.
