Yea, 20 percent is the usual absolute low up to 33-35 percent for high. I don't know if you need 500 grams of protein, but you could lower that to around 1-1.5 g per pound or 275-400 grams. Make sure that almost all of your fats come from nuts/seeds/oils/flax/other EFAs/olives/avacados/soybeans/oats/fish/lean meats/ and not much saturated fats.

T.O.M.
as long as your fats are over 40 your fine. Plus it takes 2-3 weeks (prolonged lows) before low fat will cause a hit on your hormones. I read a study that said it was 35g for 3 weeks in women before hormones started dropping, so I'm figuring 25% more (40g) is enough. Obviously on a bulk you'd want to maximize them to ensure your getting both the calories and the full hormonal release. I'd imagine 110-130 would be maximum levels needed. These numbers are 100% completely and totally irrelevant to how much carb or protein you are ingesting. so don't use any ratios to figure it out.
Just try to keep your mono and polys up and sats below 15g if possible since they slow metabolism and dont contribute to hormone release.

Same with dietary fiber. as long as your taking 20-45g per day you're fine.
