How do important fats like Mono and Poly effect weight lifting? I really have no clue why there so important besides the fact that you guys say so.

the fact is that fat is a macronutrient. no matter how many bad conotations it has, our bodies need it

1) a great source of fuel
2) used to target proteins to part of the body
3) essential for the production of cell membranes
4) for hormone synthesis

Fat is the easiest way to get in extra calories becuase it has 9cals/g as opposed to protein and carbs that have 4cals/g
It's important if you're like me and have a really fast meatbolism
also slower burning, its essentail if you wish to have a stamina at all.

that sounds like bull**** shad, id take it most for a) HORMONES b) calories
yah, but what are calories used for? energy.
Fats, are slower burning and abundant, thats why they accumliate and form god ol' spare tires. So yah, they do count for calories, which are burned for energy in various things such as: physical exercise and essential bodily functions: such as cell division.
im pretty damn sure its true.
