What nutrient do you think I am missing? For the past couple of months my hair has gotten thin, and it falls out a little faster than normal. Is it a vitamin defiency? Or am I not getting enough fat in my diet?

Could be too little fat, definitely.
Are you taking any vitamins? Vitamin deficiencies are fairly common, but you're drinking MRPs and the like, so I'd be inclined to doubt that's the cause...

girl i told ya this would happen. ummm....start off with some Evening Primrose, for omega-6s. i know your prolly already getting flax in your diet. Also, have your doc do a thyroid panel. It might also be hormones..have you started cycling again?
yup tryska, thats up and running. and i am gaining weight too so I was wondering when my hair would catch up.
I was thinking it was a fat deficiency too. I'm getting plenty of olive oil, but no flax or evening primrose. Definitely will look into that. Is canola oil good for anything? We have a lot of that around the house.
I'm taking centrum vitamins. Unless their absorption is hindered by the food i eat with them or the decaf tea i drink, i should be covered in vits.

canola will give you omega 3s as well so you don't HAVE to get the flax. EPO is really good for hair for some reason...don't know if O-6's do it, or some other phytochem fromt eh plant. another good hair one is black currant oil. that's a bit harder to find though.
