followed this board for too long not to have a journal; honestly i feel left out.

so here goes...

no diet tracking
no calorie tracking

just simple weigh in, stats for the training split, and sign off. maybe some progress pictures for my own good, chiming in on my problem areas is welcomed

brief story: started training beginning september '03, weighed 175, 11.5% bf, and didnt care for my body since highschool sports. bulked for the majority of my college year and pulled off 200, 12.4% bf by may'04. Lazy over the summer, back in gym beginning of september this year.

cliff notes: 8 months in training, up 25 pounds and 1% bf.

after summer weigh in 205 and 15.4% bf (...)

some pictures of me in my current state one month back in training.

goals: big and lean

training split consists of 4 a week days.
monday - chest
tuesday - back calves
wednesday - off
thursday - shoulder thighs
friday - arms calves
sat & sun - off

whoaa... thanks a lot bud, i dont hear any complements when i'm around here, really means a lot. since they are swolen right now (my big head...) i decided to take out the tape measure and turns out i did get bigger than last time i checked over a month ago. (also attached is the swolen arms picture... last picture update for at least a month)

well well... here goes another day another week.

first thing is first... i didnt even attempt my 295 max claim. and there are two reasons for that. but i'm not too upset because i still maxed for a PR 285x1.5

today i had an IM flag football game and practice before lift. basically i was running around and pumping iron since 4:30 to 9:30. i also weighed in 5 lbs less since friday so i knew something was off.

10/25/04 - monday - chest

flat bench (barbell) 225x10, 285x1.5, 245x7, 255x5, 265x4
chest dip - BWx12 ... 3 times
incline bench (dumbbell) 70x12 75x12 80x10 85x8

thanks... good posibility too, my campus atp lab has a bunch of 18 y/o girls taking the measurements...

but i like to see a huge drop when i check next time so 15% it is :)

i dont do much actively during the day besides lifting. i'm a couch potato.

one muscle group a day, monday, tuesday, wed off, thursday, friday, sat and sun off.

it doesnt seem much to me. in two days after the lift the muscle is feeling good and unswole/unsoar. and that leaves 5 more days before that muscle gets hit hard again.

decent lift. took a lot out of me but i hit my 295 max thats a huge personal record for me. soon to break 300's.

i completely skipped shoulder/thigh day and i dont care, maybe i'll work overtime this thursday to make up for it.

weighed in at 199.6.... dont really know how i keep dropping weight over the weekend. its alright if i'm keeping strength but i'm affraid my gains will suffer.

how many calories should i look at to maintain a steady healthy 200?

im up in lake county in ingleside, its near grayslake, foxlake, round lake etc.

i see ur closing in on a 300lb bench. looks like theres gonna be a competition to see who can bench more. im tryin to close in on 315 next week :)

i cant say i know where that is. what cities u by?

i'm lacking a bit of confidence now that i sit here and browse the forums.

i want to look Big, but not obnoxious. but i want to keep the shape.

i'm constantly going back and forth reading from different opinions that the better way to go about lifting is conforming to either a bulk cycle or a cut cycle. i think i have good form, at least a great shape to continue to add mass too. but i see smaller and leaner guys lifting as much or more than me sometimes in the gym and they are 20 ibs shy of me at the same height to boot.

i would like the shape that BCC has in the august/september 2003 shot.

what are you guys opinions?

BCC if you're out there i hope you dont mind the picture jack...

dont let other ppl get u down. dont worry about em. ud prob hate me cause at my gym im one of the smaller guys lifting the heavy weights.

go for a bulk for a few months then cut and ull have a nice size to ya, show those little guys whats up.

as much as i would like to keep posting good results here.. the truth is each workout the reps dont increase as much as the effort is in posting here daily.

i'm going to limit stats bi-weekly. then post pictures monthly.

198 and dropping it seems.

taking in aproximately 2500-3000 calories a day

surprisingly this week my strength has been on par when i was at 205. but now i look more cut up.

i'm just marking this for my personal records... i probably won't have much time to update other things, but i do hope to get some before and after pics...

day 1 9/25/05
100mg/ml test prop (1ml eod) x 8 weeks

again this is most likely the safest spot i can post any info regarding the subject that i can have for my own record.

took most of the summer off (lazy i guess) june until late august. one month in training again my stats are as follows...

200, 11-15% bf (my best guess anyway)
strength wise about the same as before

i'll think of more to say soon
