i dont know are they.. ? what do you consider good for bulking, didn't you say you eat a buncha ramen as well. if it helps you put on weight then I guess so.

what I mean... is are they really bad for you? I don't eat a bunch of raman... just maybe a pack every other day. I am trying to eat a little better for the rest of my bulk. I was wondering how bad the potatos and gravy are.

doesn't look to bad on paper...

but the order I get is about 2 cups and I'm sure those stats are for a much smaller serving.

Watch the sodium in Ramen.

sodium makes you store a lot of water weight right?

in other words... makes you bloated and fatter looking....

I would be more worried about the blood pressure aspect, especially being that BBers are generally notorious for high BP.

1 pack of ramen is like 64% of your days sodium right?

Mashed potatoes would be fine for a bulk I would imagine, but the gravy is like liquid fat.

Mashed potatoes and gravy could never be considered "good, clean foods". Getting them from KFC can only make them worse.

Take a look behind the counter; is there anyone working there with a body that you aspire to?

:withstupi

lots of starchy carbs, lots of sat fats, lots of sodium

to be honest I'm flabbergasted that you can be a member at this board for more than a month and even NEED to ask that question

about the only way you could make that worse would be to pour some sugar on top of the gravy and give yourself a nice insulin spike to insure that all of the calories are stored as fat

If you really want to go there on a bulk, get a large order of mashed potaetoes, skip on the gravy, and get yourself a bucket of chicken, but don't eat the skin.

I don't really think it makes much of a difference from a bodybuilding standpoint, as long as your total cals, proten, etc. are in check. From a health standpoint, it's different though, definitely not healthy, but I don't see how KFC would make you much fatter than getting the same protein, carbs and fat from a 'clean' source
