View Full Version : set/rep range for the smaller bodyparts

I'm trying to transfer my workout routine to more of a powerlifter's routine; not completey, but partly.

Now obviously for the big 3 you wanna keep the rep range between 1-8, but what about for curls, military press, rows, and overhead extensions? I've heard they should be done with 2 sets of 10-15 reps. This sounds logical, because I couldn't imagine doing super heavy curls or super heavy pressdowns, etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.

It depends on what you need to do, what your goals are, and what works for you.

i usually do eitehr 2 or 3 sets by anywhere from 4-8 reps
