Has anyone ever heard that the synthetics substances is creatine play tricks on the heart. I have always heard about the kidneys could be damaged if you don't drink to much water. I was talking with a guy and he said that the synthetic that is used to make creatine played games on the heart and is very dangerous. I would appreaciate anyones opinion.

If you are talking about contaminants left in creatine supplements from production, then it is simply a matter of purity and the reputation of company.

Nope. It's contained in red meat as well. Taking 5g of creatine is like eating a buttload of red meat, but without the fat and cholesterol... which is what would kill your heart if you tried to get C naturally.

While touted there is no evidence to show any negative cardiovascular effects and further studies will most likely prove that it actually has a beneficial cardioprotecting role due to an antioxodant effect.
