I would say 90% of my days I fall between 1-2 gallons. Most training days are closer to 2 gallons.

I usually drink a little over a gallon at work. And than on training days I'll drink another half a gallon or more.

Probably about a gallon. I down 2 quarts at work, then another one in the gym, and yet another one during whatever time I'm at home. I keep a quart water bottle around so I can always grab it... I have one at home, at work, and I keep one in the Jeep and take that into the gym or wherever I go.

How much importance does the amount of water you drink make? I never really drink water. I always drink milk when I'm thirsty or not. It has calories and water doesn't. Thats how I look at it. Why drink something that won't make me gain weight when I can drink something that will?

1 gallon=3.75 liters

umm, water cleans your system and hydrates you. Plus, I'm damn sure you can consume more water than you can milk. Try 3 times as much actually.

Yeah If i drink more than 24 oz of milk per day my ass explodes.

Hey buddy you can go weeks without eating but I believe it's something like 3 days before you die if you don't drink water. I know I wouldn't like to find that out myself though...

uh...there are plenty of sources of water though...not just tap or bottled, so if you are drinking juice, pop, etc you have to factor in that it's mostly water also...so I don't think you'd die if you went without drinking straight H2O.

Well you said you can drink 3 times as much water as milk. I drink in between half a gallon and a gallon a day of milk. Most of the time I drink about a gallon. So you're saying if i wanted I could drink 3 gallons of water a day?

Usually I drink 3 liters while working out, sometimes 4.

During the rest of teh day usually another 3 liters, so about 6-7 liters a day on average.

ironman15, you must be getting between 1700-2000 calories a day just from milk, what is you total daily caloric intake.

well a lot depends on what type of milk it is. I usually drink 2 percent so each 8 oz. has like 120 calories. So you figure 16 times 120 is 1920. And thats if I drink a whole gallon, usually my total calorie intake from milk is about 1300-1400. My total calorie intake during the day is usually between 3500-4000 as of the past couple of weeks.

Well after losing weight from surgery and the flu, and dropping down to about 113lbs, I'm now up to about 126lbs. And just recently was able to get back into weightlifitng.
