You think there's some special magic in it? It's just food.

i hope that wasn't a typical 'wannabe big' forums response

very unhelpful

i'm only wanting opinions on this product in comparison to others -- how effective (i thought i mentioned this) it is

Food is very effective, I'm pretty sure. An MRP is an MRP, unless it's Opticen ;) . So it really comes down to taste, in which case everyone's opinion is going to be different (again unless it's opticen).

this lp1 tastes pretty revolting, but it's the best my chemist has, apparently. perhaps i'll look up opticen. thanks, AJ.

An MRP = food. They are calories in an easier to consume form, that's all. Whole food is always better as far as "effectiveness". Some people are disillusioned into thinking that whey protein or weight gainers have something special in them to make you grow more muscle. They're just protein, or protein and carbs in liquid or bar form.

Musahi isnt **** mate. Ive tried alot of musashi products and there all very good. Cant say ive tried LP1 but just because it tastes bad doesnt mean its no good. Ive only ever tasted one protein powder that DID taste good.

yeah fair enough. i wasn't expecting it to taste all that great, but this one has a pretty nasty aftertaste. doesn't seem to be quite as strong warmed up though.

i'll see it through til the end of the tub, then maybe have a look for different flavours of that product, or alternatives
