I was wondering what you guys do as far as eating at night. I have read that it is good to have a snack before you go to bed, so that your metabolisim is working all night. I have to have something at night. I may have a PB sandwich or something like that. Do you guys do the same?

I'd not have a PB sandwich, bread isn't a good option before you go to bed but it all dpends on your individual goals too.

I still to a good ol' protein shake - no carbs. You don't need the energy before bed so why risk the fat gain?

I'm with kilsby - a nice quick protein shake works for me.

I usually blend 2 cups of milk, 2 bananas, and 2 scoops of Nitrean. I wouldn't worry about having a PB sandwich as long as it fits into your overall plan and goals.

Thanks. The PB fits into my diet because i dont consume a ton of fats, so it is ok. Plus it is on whole grain bread.

Try eating cottage cheese, it takes a long time for your body to digest. A bowl before bed should do the job.

but by all means if you dont like the stuff dont eat it...everyone falls into the trap of eating foods they dont like because someone tells them it's good for them.

Yummm... liquid egg whites...

Any special secrets for getting rid of the aftertaste?? I used to follow it down with a swig of Diet Coke but I'm trying to wean myself off of soda pop.

I eat everything in the fridge before I go to bed. And a couple bananas. It takes me at least 2 hours to fall asleep anyway.

I usually have cottage cheese and flax seed oil, or just a bunch of hardboiled eggs.

Or, on occasion; pizza. ;)

I usually eat 2 chicken sandwish from jack in the Box. My soccer practice starts from 8 pm till 10 pm, so after it, I get hungry. Sometimes I eat three white eggs, one with the yolk, beans and 2 wheat bread with water, gatorade or a diet coke.
