View Full Version : Howz this look for UD2 low carb days???

K i did all the calculations, does this look right for a ~173lb guy with ~13% BF?
50 grams of carbs comes from 83 grams of OATS, costing 297 calories
Protein is at 164 grams
(200 grams of chicken=212c,
4 cans of tuna=584c,
8 grams protein from previous oats)
TOTAL PROTEIN = 796 CALORIES
FAT LEFT = 197 calories
You should really be getting a minimum of 1g protein/lb bodyweight on any calorie-restricted diet. Other than that, it looks fine.

It says here "1-1.5 grams per LEAN body mass"
So 173 - 22 (if im at ~13% bodyfat) = 151 grams required
Man this UD2 stuff is kinda scary :/ I hope i dont **** myself
Well, in a diet that low in calories, I'd always err on the high side.
UD2's good stuff man, you'll like the results.

It's a pretty involved program, so just be prepared to feel like crap some days. The diet looks ok, but if you plan on dipping below 50g of carbs, then you would try to aim for 1.5 g protein per pound of bodyweight.

Ok, i remembered there is some fat hiding in my protein & carb sources, so i can add some more protein without running out of calories and meet the required amount of fat

Good luck bro, UD2 is awesome for cutting. Wait about 4 weeks and get ur bf% checked on a saturday (assuming you're doing the typical friday carb load). You should be down 3-4% by then.
