Okay, as promised, here are a few more pictures of me. Any crude or sexual comments will get this thread locked (like my last one), so if you feel the need, PM me!!! ;)

Otherwise, please feel free to offer me whatever criticism and advice you feel may help me get ready for competition next June! Any suggestions for where I may want to be for competition? I've been told I should be competing middleweight (<125lbs) but that doesn't sound like it'd work on my frame. I was thinking a nice sold 140 is probably more likely.

Stats:

5'8"
149lbs
18% bf (though will be retested later this week)

BP: 145 x 4 (new record!!!); 155 x 1 (new record, may be higher when chest not burnt out first!!)

All around you're looking pretty solid. Nothing sticks out in a good or bad way and that's a definite plus. Keep training hard and heavy. Congratulations on the benchpress, that's impressive.

Depends, are you competing in figure or bodybuilding?

Figure- 140 is about right before water depeletion

Bodybuilding 130-135 before water.

I plan to compete in bodybuilding (though I've never watched a figure competition, heard a bit about it and may consider it instead). How much weight would I lose with water depletion?

To come in around 140 you would need to add a large amount of muscle while dieting for this competition. Generally speaking competitors lose about 20 pounds getting ready for a bodybuilding show. How much water you will lose is some what individual. It helps to keep your sodium intake low and drink 1-2 gallons of water per day. For my last competition I only lost 3 pounds of water where my training partner lost 9. My best guess would put you lossing between 4-7 pounds by the weight in.

So it sounds like I could still possibly be competing middleweight?? I guess it's hard to tell right now, it just seems like there'd be nothing left of me!!
