I dont think thats that bad, considering you need about 100g of fat anyways for a bulk

It's fairly high, but it's not too bad.

that doesnt add up to 130g, are those figures for yesterday or for the days u've eaten 130g. anyways dont sweat it its not too high.

I'll piggy back this thread. How does mine look for a bulk?

Fat: 113
Sat: 9
Poly: 15
Mono: 27

30 grams of sat fat is too high.

Total fat as a proportion of calories... What's acceptable will be different for everybody. There are roughly 9 cals in a gram of fat. Multiply fat by 9:

130 g fat x 9 cals/g fat = 1170 cals

divide fat cals by total cals: 1170/3100 = .3774...

So 37% of your cals on that day came from fat. Whether or not that's acceptable depends on your goals and diet. I think 30 grams of saturated fat is too high regardless.

The saturated, poly, and mono need to add up to almost the total grams of fat. Come on people. Personally, i think under 20g(10-20) saturated fat is good, and equal mono and poly.

Pulling my data directly from FitDay.... which I realize I track fat but not always what types of fat.

I get about 130g on 4200 cals... It's a little high I think but if you're bulking don't worry about it :D.

You're right. Fat is good for you. Try to make as much of your fat intake EFA's though. Like I said before, your intake is fine.

My aim at the moment is to cut some fat from my stomach to reveal my abs. How much fat would you suggest eating.

ps im 15 and don't eat that many calories
