To be honest I'd worry about gaining muscle before I started trying to cut any weight. At 5'7" 132 lbs you are rather small, I'm guessing if you posted a more inclusive picture you could be called "skinny fat". The reason I suggest adding muscle before cutting is because, at your current bodyfat I'd estimate you'd need to drop down <125lbs to start seeing your abs better and abs or not that's quite skinny.

also the more muscle you have the faster your metabolism is.. or so i heard..

Yeah, definately train hard to gain muscle, if you only weigh 132 my guess is youd be about 110 if you want a 6-pack. The heroin look is out ;) Youre only 15, and if you just started working out you will make great gains

bf% tests are for kids, i only guessed what mine was in those pics I posted because the tests are never accurate. Goes by height and weight ratio so Lee Priest weighing 100kg at 5`4 in his comps does that mean hes fat?

actually if u use calipers u can get a pretty good reading.. u just got to know how to use them accurately.. i got digital calipers they are good..

Calipers use skinfold measurements, if Preist has no fat on him, nothing will show up as fat with his measurements. They arent perfect but they arent bad either.

It's very difficult to judge from that shot. Post a pic that shows your entire upper body and you might get more consistent answers.

Yeah the calipers method isn't too bad I was referring to the digital scale thing, still those tests are a waste of time they don't achieve anything.

maybe 20%, there's no ab definition....

those lines are the creases where the skin/fat folds over itself. (not good)

You need to work out hard.... the increase in energy output will burn more calories and burn more fat. You should also add more muscle (which burns calories even resting) and make your appearance better.

At your age if you start working out you will make GREAT gains in size & strenght from now until 19+. The next 4-5 years are the best time to develop your body which will dictate your body shape for the rest of your life. START NOW!!

Ab exercises will define the muscle under that flab, but you'll need to loose at least 15lbs to have close to a 6-pack. But since you're 15, I wouldnt really diet (cut down calories). I would just try eating healthier.. more protein, less fat. No chips, french fries, etc... EAT MEAT!! (preferably lean meat)

It could be, but that seems a little high.

Think of this... when you see someone thats "ripped" they're probably 8-10%. And you've probably got 2-3 times more body fat... so 27 could be right. My first guess was 22%++, but then when I saw your other pics and noticed weight... I thought you might only be 20%+

The best test is a the water submersion test... which is expensive and not available most places, then a professional multipoint caliper test, then maybe an electronic gauge with all information programmed correctly and multiple tests of it over time.

My BF scale goes up and down several % with in a day. I think it has to do with how much sodium (salt) I take in... b/c high sodium makes your body more conductive for electricity.

Those BF scales are usually set for the average person, so it might be fairly accurate for you, but for an athletic person, the extra muscle often throws it off, several % too high.

Well basing your assumption off an incorrect measurement will only yield an incorrect conclusion. There is no way that he is anywhere near 14% BF in those pictures, at 14% you'd be seeing his abs, maybe not a 6 pack but you'd be seeing a semi-defined 4 pack on almost everyone unless they pretty much carried weight exclusively in their midsection. If you were 18% with more fat than him, you weren't 18%. I think most people are on the right track with estimates of 20%+.
