View Full Version : Fat/Protein Meal Suggestions
I need to up the fat in my diet so I was thinking of having one of my four meals be a fat/protein meal as opposed to my 3 other meals, which include all the macros but fat in insufficient amounts. Any good ideas on clean, easy fat/protein meals/snacks?
Also, when would be the best time to have this? Maybe in the evening on a workout day? Should I have them at all on rest days? (I'm slowly bulking)

Canned salmon. ;)
Nuts, especially peanuts.
Mozzarella cheese on top of anything.
Steak.
lol. i'm totallly just throwing things out. I would honestly incorporate some fat into all your other meals (except post workout), with a fat supplement before bed.
Yes, you should definitely have your fat on non-workout days too.
The hard thing is, there aren't too many fat/protein snacks, "convenient" fat doesn't usually include oils, which is where the fat should mostly be coming from. This is why I say it's better to work the fat in.
Wait, you already have my opinion.

Walnuts and almonds are some of the best sources of EFAs.
They're also rich in fibre, which is important in a healthy diet.

best sources in my opinion are nuts (walnuts, cashews, sunflower seeds, peanuts-actually a legume)
