I burnt my rice a tad bit today accidentally; it's still the same white color, but some parts are more crispy than usual. A very VERY small portion of it (less than 1/20) is a light orange.

Is it ok to eat?

Stomach pump! NOW!

Fine as far as I know, probably won't digest as easily.

Burnt food is a source of carcinogens.

It's best to avoid burning and overcooking food wherever possible; personally however my burgers are always quite crispy :)

I reckon it's always better to burn it than to risk food poisoning - make sure it's cooked!

Also, a lot of people don't realise, but cooked rice can also be a source of food poisoning, if you let it cool and sit at room temp for awhile... So keep it hot!!

Just thought you'd like to know, sorry if it's off topic.
