Yo I'm trying to maintain my weight, and because I work out often and want to get stronger, not bigger, I was thinking of having a Whey Protein Shake every workout or every day. Is this a good idea, or will it make me gain weight?

Whey protein isn't a bad idea post-workout.
The only you'll gain weight is if you eat more calories than you burn throughout the day.
Additional note: protein digestion takes calories by itself. Search online for specifics.

maintaining your weight means not eating more then your body exerts and vice versa... what the heck does drinking a protein shake do? will I gain weight if I eat a piece of cheese every day?
Yet another guy who thinks protein powder is like gear...
I don't know what's so hard to understand, even to a newbie. Protein powder is FOOD...end of story.
