sorry if the question was already asked

im kinda fat but i want to cut and not lose all the strength/muscle i gained
any advice?

if you have a lot of fat you will lose strength. You will feel weaker in push and pull situations. Cause the more wieght you have behind you the more you can push and pull. Check out world's strongest men. MOst of them are not below 15% body fat. NOw you should not be losing muscle if you do it right. Also if your not weight training as hard as you once were and doing more cardio your not going to see the results in muscle gain you were seeing before. YOur focus is going to be on cutting, not muscle gain. remember that.

You don't have to lose strength or muscle if you do certain types of diets. UD2 comes to mind.

you dont need to do a special diet to maintain strength/gain strength and preserve muscle.... just dont go on a stupid crash diet... do it gradually and dont look to drop massive amounts of fat to fast.

I've lost about 9 pounds in the last 7 weeks.

My strength has improved over that time, I have all the records of my workouts to prove it.

I haven't gained any size of course, but the cut was a necessary move because I wasn't happy with how I looked.

Just go slow as mentioned and get lots of protein throughout the entire day.
