TTT i slipped when i got out of the gym fell on my side my leg got scrapped as well so i kinda landed with hand and leg to the side damn ice!

Ouch. Hope it's just temporary. Yeah I hate ice too, we actually had a tiny bit of 'black ice' on the paths at my uni last year, just early in the mornings in Winter. It was nasty.

Oh I thought you were ice skating and fell or something.
every year from middle school on up I fell at the busstop and got a concussion a few times. it was so damn cold that they shut the schools down due to being like -50.

Exactly what he said! This journal has a tendency to make me feel weak.

Slipping on the ice sucks. I walked out the door of my dorm last week and slipped on ice on my first step out the door.

Wow, and today I saw an older man slip, his foot when to where his head was.
I was limping along and thought 'wow what nice kick! Why did he do it though?' Then I saw his head hit the ground. He was okay though, bruised ego.

yeah same here but i usually never rest and a couple times i get like blood spots on my face and neck from pushing so hard.. and your leg extensions are huge :-)

Head rush?! Nice! I love when I'm doing DL's and I feel like passing out afterwards. I actually know a guy who works his DL's so hard he actually has passed out in competitions.

Great leggy w/o, GF. Those extensions are quite hardcore. :thumbup:

lol! lady! i do like to run but this weather doesn't allow me right now since i like running outdoors so i rest on the wknds! i get enough poundage during the week thank you darlin' :)

She does. She has been back into it for about six months and has made great progress (her strength coach is fantastic ;) ). She played NCAA field hockey and ice hockey, then was out of athletics for a few years after school. I've gotten her back into the gym, although it was something she wanted to do anyway.

She'd be a fantastic powerlifter. Her build and athleticism are great, and she's fairly aggressive and hardheaded. I just have to convince her to try it. ;)

hey GF have you ever considered or tried sleeping pills (unisom, nyquil) to help every once in a while with sleep.. i use them occasionally but only on days i can devote 8-10 hours of sleep to.. just an idea cause i have insomnia also and i can get by a minimal rest but every once in a while our batteries gottta recharge :-)
