Sure it's OK, but it doesn't mean it's the best thing you could eat. Cottage cheese and peanut butter is perfect, and in my opinion tastes better than a banana.

Do you mean mixed together or separately?

Either/or...whatever tastes better to you. I prefer seperately, unless of course you throw a scoop of chocolate whey in there as well. Then, mix the 3 together and you're talking :drooling:.

Separately for me.

Vido is correct, you can make a killer chocolate-peanut butter shake with those three blended together, with some milk. wow i can taste it already...that reminds me i need to get some more Nitrean....but to anwser your question...a banana is fine but slow-burning proteins are best before bedtime to prevent muscle catabolism during sleep...i think thats the correct terminology? aka cottage cheese, milk, peanut butter etc.

Not a shake though. Just mix the whey and pb right into the cottage cheese. Trust me, it's delcious.

no regrets

A bag of dextrose.

But it is not really a matter of absolutely OK vs. absolutely NOT OK. There is a whole greyscale area in between, and a lot of it depends on what one is trying to achieve. For most bodybuilding purposes a banana would not be the best choice, but neither would it be the worst thing to have. But if someone for some reason need a truckload of carbs, then a banana would be ok. (Still not the best choice for carbs though, but I don’t want to get into THAT discussion here..! :) )
