How much time should I spend between sets?
* 10-8 reps per set
* 7-5 reps per set
* 4-2 reps per set
* 1 rep per set

Depends on what you're doing. If I'm attempting a max lift I will allow for near full recovery between warm up sets and my max attempts. That can be anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes. I will rest about 60 seconds between sets for my normal routine. That's with a rep range around 10 per set. I would give myself a little more time if I were adding weight and staying in a 6-8 rep range for sets.
