my friend was explaining to me that instead of doing cardio 3 days a week for 25-30 minutes (like I have been doing) I should separate it into 3 15-minute cardio intervals on those days. For example: run on the treadmill a little faster than usual, take a short break, repeat.
He went into a little detail about how short distance runners have bigger, more muscular bodies than do those of long distance runners. I can see his point there, but does anyone know if this is more beneficial? I'm trying to lose fat, but not weight, and remain at my current strength, just with more cuts. Will this cardio routine help? Thanks.
