I heard that awhile back and I think it sounds cool for a journal. Guess the second one died, but Ive been hitting the gym pretty consistent this month. I renewed my one year membership yesterday. I have a long up-hill battle though to get back to where I was awhile ago. So here goes:

December 15, 2004 Leg Day

Weight: 155 lbs

Ugh. Ive become such a skinny ass again. But squattin is a way to get back some of that mass......in the ass :D

Squats:145x8, 145x8, 145x8

Leg Curl:110x8, 110x8, 110x5

DB Lunges:60x8, 60x8, 60x8

Yoi! I know if I gain most of that weight back some of my clothes wont fit. But hell I can buy new ones or wear'em kinda tight :D Oh well.

Eventhough my pimpin cane might be retired for the moment, I still beat it up like its my job :hump: Currently stuffing a 1/2 lb of chicken down my skinny gullet. Did some shoulders/trap work today. Keep on trudging uphill baby.

Y2A is the Grand Poohba of pimpin'. Im a mere disciple, but I have a lady type so Im retired for now.

As for friday, I took the day off. Mon-Thurs beat me up kinda good. Im still feeling teh leg day. Good feeling though, knowing my legs are growing again. I work tonight and kind of took it easy during the day today. Football tomorrow morning. Prob gonna hang with the gf tonight after work....looking forward to back day on Monday.

Ahhhhhh monday. I got my food shopping out of the way this morning. Ill be hitting the back today. I switched back day to mondays since everyone does chest that day in my gym.....lets see if I can move up/get more reps out this week.

It was pretty cold for football on sunday. Temp was about 15F and Im guessing the wind chill was well below zero. Very windy. I toughed it out though (no gloves!) and did pretty well. We won 14-7. Not sure what my record is this year but Im well over .500.

December 20, 2004 Back Day

Weight: 158lbs (+2lbs)

Well I gained two pounds from last week. I guess eating a half pound of chicken 4 times a week is starting to work. Plus the two cans of tuna, eggs, beef, etc. Im feeling very good right now and I think Im starting to see signs of growth. My lifts have improved this week, I did a lot of sets of 5 though. I like those a little better than 8s. I feel like my form is better and I can concentrate on getting 5 good reps out per exercise. Threw in some curls too!

Overall a typical day. Im getting ready for christmas, hoping the girl likes all that I got her. Im heading over there tonight, prob stay the night. Its too cold to leave and go home.......plus who wants to leave a hot ass girl alone in bed?!? :D

cp:thanks man....my goal right now is 165....then maybe 170, but I dont know about above that.

CH: My split goes like this: Mon-Back/Bi, Tues-Chest/Tri, Weds-Legs, Thur-Shoulders/Traps, then friday I leave open in case I miss a day during the week.

Cocoa:Yeah I dont do much lifting on the weekends. I usually take it easy now. I dont drink much at all anymore.....during the time I was being a slackass I drank too much and it ate away at my muscle mass. I guess I paid for that, but now Ill have one or two drinks TOPS. Plus, I spend alot of time with my girl on the weekends too. BAM!

Made some good gains this chest day.....A friend of mine commented on how my shoulders are coming back in :D The gf is coming over tonight and we'll be doing some christmassing! On to teh numbers.....

cp:Yeah it seems to be coming back better week by week. I started lifting again about a week or so before I started this journal. Ill more than likely hit a wall coming up on 185 or so. Hopefully, I can hit 160lbs next week. I mostly want to fill out to where I was before.

Hickory: Currently, Im 5'8'' and 158lbs. Eek!

December 27, 2004 Back/Bi Day

Weight: 159lbs.- up 1lb from last week :D

Well Im almost a month back into lifting with some seriousness. I can start to see some changes in my body. I feel fuller and look fuller. I can notice in my arms/chest that Ive made some gains back. Most of all I feel great. I quit drinking during the week and I rarely drink on the weekends (except last night watching my miserable Cleveland Browns drop their 9th in a row, and fall to 3-12, then I downed 7 PBR's hehehehehe, just to help me cope).
My gf says shes starting to notice some changes too, so thats an added bonus. Anyhow, I made it back into the gym to start the week out.....

Tri's were on fire after today. Im glad to see my bench is progressing back to normal levels. I think Ill stay at 185 next week as well. Some of the reps prob could have been better.

Got Dr.Strangelove last night, I saw it for the first time on Christmas Eve. What a great movie. George C Scott is hilarious in it and Peter Sellers is awsome! Id recommend it, I dont say that about many movies :D

Well the scale said 160 today, but Ill wait until weigh-in day on Monday for an official number. I decided to test myself a bit more on the Squats today. The first few weeks I kind of got back into squatting so today I did some heavier weight.

Squats:185x5, 205x5, 205x5

Leg Curls:120x5, 120x5, 120x5

DB Lunges:65x5, 65x5, 65x5

Those lunges still kill me. I might try to move up a bit next week on the curls and lunges.

No workout yesterday. I had a crummy day, I got screwed out of 15 bucks at Burger King. They forgot to give me my change in the drivethrough, I drove away not thinking of it. When I got home and relized it, I went back later and they said the drawer was even. The ****er in the window stole it. :( :mad: So that ruined my day!

Long, long weekend. Went to my gf's cousins house for a New Years Day party. She got drunk as hell and i had to deal with it the whole ride home back to Ytown (1.5 hrs). She was so drunk she shifted my car down to 2nd gear going about 75 on the freeway. I almost slapped a ho! So I finally got her drunk ass to bed. Other than that it was a fun day. Time to hit the gym tonight......

Got a PS2 also. NCAA Football 2005, The Sims Bustin Out, and ESPN College Hoops 2005 (for 20 bucks this game is awsome, cant stop playing it!).

Felt like crap this weekend and monday. My mom had the flu and I think I got a little sick. Im feeling good today though.

Playing football on sunday was pretty fun......minus the COLD MUD! Falling in that **** was miserable, it was cold and windy too.......but I played pretty well. Im the only guy out there that doesnt wear recieving gloves :D Im teh PIMP!

Well chest day today......Im not sure if I want to keep the heavier weights up, or drop down a bit and get some more reps in, Im leaning towards more reps.

CH:Gloves are for pussies. I stopped wearing them two years ago and Ive caught the ball better since. Even on the coldest day of the year I dont wear'em.....thats why God gave us a nice warm crotch to warm them up :D

Well it started as a leg day, but I had some weird pain in my right knee when trying to do leg curls. Ive had this happen before. I warmed up and all too. So I turned it into a semi back day, but still got some squats in before the pain.

January 17, 2005 Back Day

Weight: 161lbs........well it took a little longer but I finally cracked 160 again. Looks like Im making some good progress, short term goal is 165. But mostly I want to hit the gym regularly and basically feel better.

Although, my gf said she has seen noticable improvements in my size since I started again last month. She found a picture of me from late October 2004. I mustve been close to 150lbs then.........yuck! :(
