I currently am on synthroid for thyroid issues. Something that I will always have to take. As a result of testing, they found my testosterone levels to be a bit low.
The synthroid has helped level me out some, but I am still around the 210 level.
My Dr. gave me a shot of Depo-Test 200mgs. I will take this doage every three weeks until ????

Will this help much with development in my workouts?

And, while on a Protein Diet, will this cause issues with blodd pressure? I know the diet has a bit.

Looking for the boards wisdom........

thanks

Is the doc giving you the shots, or do you give them to yourself?

If I was givng them to myself, I'd take at least 200 a week, depending on how often I could get the script filled.

Cuz 200 mg every 3 weeks shouldn't do too much except shut down your test production alltogether.

PS If you have issues with blood pressure, the doc shouldn't have prescribed you steroids. :)

PPS why were you asking about anavar when you get free test? lol

Look at the post "hormone help" in this forum, I think you'll find alot of the info useful.

Low thyroid function has a direct impact of Testosterone levels, however it is t-3 that effects this and not so much t-4. If your Doctor is willing to try t-3 replacement your Test levels may increase substantially.

If your Doc is giving you a shot of Test every three weeks as T replacement you have to live on it and the shots should really be every week to keep blood levels constant so you don't feel any psycholgical effects and to keep sex drive normal, every other week is acceptable but generally a higher concentration of Test is used, usually around 400mg. if your Doc really wants to improve your quality of life some will help you achieve T levels in the mid-high range while others simply give you enought to get by on (mid-low range.)

About your blood pressure generally any increase in androgen will raise blood pressure to some extent, your doctor should be aware of this, hence he should be monitering your blood pressure to begin with.
