So as another one of my posts said, I realized today that I was mis-estimating the calories/carbs in sweet potatoes. I saw online that a "large sweet potato" had 160 calories, 4g protein and 35g carbs about. So I've been factoring that into my diet when I eat a "large" sweet potato.

But today for the first time I actually weighed the normal size sweet potato I eat and found out that it's almost twice as big as what the nutrition facts said was a "large" sweet potato.

So now I realize that instead of taking in 160 calories and 35g carbs when I had a sweet potato in my post-post workout meal, I was really taking in 70g carbs!

It just pisses me off to think that I've been concentrating on my diet so much and now I realize I just ate an extra 35g of carbs right in the middle of the day.

Yea, i know. They really ought to change that. At least their a fairly low GI food.
