Yikes... I have P/C/F --- 22%/42%/37% . Many people have been telling me anything more than 1.5xBW of protein is really bad for the kidneys, and even at 22% I'm getting more than 1.5xBW.

Drink lots of water, it helps the kidneys with the excess protein.

Your current macro ratios sound great - plenty of protein, at least 20% of cals from fat and making up the rest from carbs.

Thank's all, I'll just go for a bit more protein and a bit less fat.

You could be just as good off macros or not. Just stick to the simple rules like 1-1.5/perbodyweight, EFAs, etc.

Everyone has different metabolisms. I am about 177 lbs, and lose weight if I eat less than 4000 cals, and need 4700+ cals to grow. Us skinny people are skinny because we have such fast metabolisms, and we probably need more calories than people like you.

protein 1-1.5g/lb 20-30%fat then make the rest up as carbs
