View Full Version : Lower calories on the weekends?

Ok, during the week, I do a lot of labor work along with going to the gym, so I know my calorie intake should be quite high. On the weekends, I really don't do anything, usually at home with minimal movements (turn into a couch potato). Wouldn't it be wiser to lower my caloric intake on weekends?

You could do your cardio on the weekend so you don't have to much of a caloric surplus. Or change weights to the weekend. I wouldn't recommend less calories, because your body will be used to a certain amount, and i don't see why you would want to mess with it. Try it if you feel lucky. :)

I think you should do cardio. Besides during the weekend your body is resting up from the week, eat the same youll be fine. If your exercising and everything during the week, when you slow down on weekends your not gonna have enough of a surplus for any negative effect.
