Great lifting, and great job on the BF drop!
cp: Thanks man. It means alot to drop that fat.
Because of how incredibly active my life has become, I have decided to change the diet up a bit to boost health and sustainability. For instance, today I took in well over 1k calories ON MILK ALONE. Almost as much on meat. Absolutely no fat on the meat, or any sweets today. Milk and water are the only things I drink. A little bit of vegetables, and the worst thing I ate today was mac and cheese, and it wasn't even that much. Busy from sun up till sun down today.
Bowled a 186, 168, and 224 today. Avg. day in YABA.

Drink. A lot.
Gal: You got it. Nearing a gallon of milk per day now just at home. This may come as a shock to you, but I just polished off the last glass of milk in the house...must....have....more.....
Meal1: 4 doritos, 1 glass of milk, 1 son of a bitching granola bar. Makes me feel better to cuss them :)
Meal2: 1 glass of water, 1 glass of milk, 1 ae choc milk, 1 slice breakfast pizza.

I meant liquor. :)
Galileo/Xian/Christian/Meatwad: :D On occasion...... :alcoholic
Meal3: 1 glass milk, 6 or 7 kool-aid frozen ice cicles (free of fat :D ) 2 large homemade tacos, no sour cream or anything bad.
Good so far today :) Gonna go chop wood in a while, and tomorrow lift and play bball before school, then lift (maybe) after track.
Meal4: 1 glass of milk
Worked outside for 1 1/2 hours, 1 hour spent splitting large chunks of knotted wood, and half of one spent carrying it uphill. Then watered all animals, after saddling a horse. Typical farm day.
Meal5: 1 glass of gatorade, 2 slices white bread with pb on them.
Will have 1 more meal, medium (cutting medium that is) size.

Bowler Huh and a farm boy to boot. I used to bowl myself. Not really any time any more. Bowled in a league for years 189 avg at my best. As with everything else it went to sh!t.
Figured I'd drop in and check ya out. Will keep up with ya. :)
midee1: Hey nice of you to drop by. Keep with me eh? Well I'll keep with ya and watch teh midee recover.
Meal5: Ok so large cutting meal lol but hey, I worked hard today. 2 bowls rotini and cheese, 2 slices white bread with pb, and 1 glass gatorade. Expect more gatorade tonight.

I peek at your journal from time to time and decided to comment. I don't want to keep feeling like a journal stalker. :hide:
Dropping from 30% to 20% is awesome, great job. You're strong as hell, too, and a very active individual. It's cool you're on a farm as well. I always enjoyed helping my grandad with his horses back in the day.
SB: Welcome, and you can comment any time you want :) Thanks for your kind words man. I love my active life :D
Diet
Meal1: 1 breakfast pizza slice, 1 carton choc milk
Meal2: 1 granola bar
Meal3: 1 large salad, shredded cheese, sunflower seeds, 1 pizza burger, 1 carton choc milk, 4 beef sticks.
Feeling fairly hungry. Went to track, stretched, ran some, did some activities, stretched some more. Then went and threw shot and discus for about a half hour. Then lifted. I ****ed some records up today!
UPPER as calf feels like **** and I def. don't want to hurt it more.

OW! I coughed and my back hurts lol. It's never hurt when I coughed before (must be the new level I've pushed myself to) but damn I feel like a champ now for the effort I put forth today.
Meal4: 4 1/4 inch 3x3inch pork steaks (quite small), mashed potatoes, 3 glasses of gatorade, 1 glass of milk
Will eat the following tonight, even though I'm full (I need the protein for building in my sleep).
Meal5: 2 slices white bread with pb. Lots of pb. My steroid :D
Can't wait to get back to doing legs, killed me today to walk out of there without doing box squats. But I won't be fooled into hitting them up, then straggling outta there with a severaly ****ed calf.

Yeah, nice session. you must have an amazing back if you can rep 350 for rows
cp: Thanks man, surprised me too.
Admiral of teh ships: Don't know about amazing, but powerful. Thanks bud.
Back sore as a mother today, this doesn't surprise anyone lol. Going to do some job shadowing today. I got stuck with a physical therapist, but wanted to watch a personal trainer. Dammit. Pretty much everything I worked yesterday kills.
Ok, I weighed 240 at the start of this cut. (about 1 1/2 months ago)
I've adheared to a strict cutting diet, with refeed every 3-4 days.
0 pop or caffeine.
Low fat calories.
I weigh 255 as of today with 20% bf.
Explain THAT one to me. I'm definitely stronger than I've been, and I know for a fact I've lost fat, that's the the tester told me, people are beginning to tell me, and I know because I can see it now. Has my body taken all this healthy food to heart and used it for muscle, or WTF because I haven't gained this much weight this cleanly since....EVER!
EDIT: Let's not forget I still lift religiously and all the activities I do. Just wierd.
I've decided to drop cals more and to keep running and everything. I believe almost all of the weight gain I've experienced is muscle built. I have been getting stronger, but most definitely not fatter.

wait a sec, if you are dropping fat and putting on muscle, why change? give it another week and see if you continue to drop bodyfat. if so, then you have one of the best diets and routine combinations ever

Excellent job, but I have no reason not to believe it. At the work gym I was doing 200 one armed, at my new gym 150 is difficult with both. It's impossible to judge weights on non-freeweight exercises. But, either way - excellent job!
Adm14al: Ok, but man it just makes me nervous to gain like this while eating this many calories, I just gotta tell myself it's A GOOD thing.
C4199l34: Won't be fixin'. Thanks bro.

Did a little lookin and found out the dayum i'm old. My oldest son was born 01-10-1988. I wish he would get the kind of work ethic and dedication that you have. All he wants to do is talk about liftin and getting ready for football next fall but all he really does is go watch basketball games and set around the house and do nothing. kudos on your choice of lifestyle. :)
midee: Sorry about overlooking you the first time dude, I was just in a rush to get out the door to do, guess what, WORK lol. Oh, and it's my little secret..... ;)
Dan: Yeah dude, I'm just not used to it. Maybe all the hard work and research is paying off finally. THanks for the encouragement.
Lady: Nice of ya to drop by. Yeah I know it's what ppl work for, just not what I'm used to getting.
midee again: Thanks for the props man. At least you can say you're setting an example for your son to follow.
A fox had ahold of a chicken and was running away with it. So I chased the bastard over a fence and, literally, through the woods. He dropped teh chicken. SO I carried the dumbcluck back to the house. Dumbass chickens, causin' me to pull a Superman act on'em.

HAHA reminds me of something Underdog would do. Great job saving the helpless lol. Don't worry so much about the gaining weight. As long as the bodyfat is coming off, you're doing something right.
Chubrock: Long time no post :D Thanks man. Chicken was roughed up but fine. Also disturbed. For some reason.
Going to make a little attempt at refeed today. Didn't eat too much yesterday. This is the earliest I've ever been on WBB, and I am consistently finding it hard to spell. I keep having to delete some of what I've wrote, because it's nosensical lol. I'm about to go into school to lift + play basketball. Oh yeah, then that sitting break known as "school" in between that and track and lifting+probably basketball. I love not being able to sit down, it means I get crap done.
SIDE NOTE: If I were to ever take crack I believe I would set the land speed record.
AHH, refeed aka junkass diet day :) Keep in mind I haven't eaten like this in months.
Meal1: Cinnamon roll, 1 carton choc milk, 1 gatorade, 1 small carton orange juice
Meal2: 1 large salad, 1 ladle ranch, sunflower seeds + shredded cheese. 1 small carton orange juice. 4 beef sticks.
Meal3: 2 s'mores biotch! Been a long, looong time.
Meal4: 1 package cheese combos, 1 gatorade
Meal5: 1 tuna sandwich, 1 glass gatorade.
I have decided the drama on the bowling team has become too much for me. I have decided....to wrestle next year. I wrestled in 7th and 8th grade and broke the coach's foot, the only guy who could wrestle me. I was pretty good. The newly crowned state champion (Adam Lyons) wrestled me when I was in 7th grade and he in 8th. I threw him on his back after picking him up, then pinned him. Took 10 seconds. I think it's about time I got back in the groove of things. I'll be our heavyweight. Our team is a crack one, and I think I'll put a polish on it.
Needless to say, this will require a turnaround in training. No longer will I powerlift, because I need LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of endurance, even to make it through our practices (every day after school during wrestling season, 1 1/2 hours, at least 1/2 hour consists of running).
Raw power is what I'll need to shot put, but wrestleing is more important. I may get a little weaker, but I'm about to kill myself in the weightroom. Sets of 10. Done slowly. Endurance, HERE I COME BITCH!.
Got up early today, went to lift.
LOWER
Low box squats
135x5
225x5
245x5
275x5
315x5
Leg ext.

25 per side x10
25 per side x10
^^ Due to osberg slaughters, my knees are more prone to injury, so I'm toughening up the tendons with the leg ext. Burned like a mofo.
In wrestleing, I'll have clearance up to 275 lbs. Won't need it, as I'll drop at least 15 lbs in the first week. I will be cut and muscled as ****. Just what I want. SO I've got to work my ass off for it. Ok.
After lifting I played basketball. Killed my calf again. Then track beat it's ass too. Had to hop on right leg up and down a parking line. Hurt like a bitch. I straggled outta school today, sore and limping. Can't wait for tomorrow.

good call on deciding to wrestle. i wrestled in high school and i loved it. from my experince, wrestling practice will give you the endurance you need. i think you would be fine continuing focusing on strength
LadyLifter
03-16-2005, 11:31 PM
good luck with the wrestling...from the sounds of your workouts you could tear up the mats ...I would say focusing on strength wouldn't be a bad idea..just try tossing in a couple miles running..see if you can't get in 10-15 miles a week to start endurance training and then work up to 20-25 miles / week if you really think you need to worry about endurance...however, from experience with coaches...they don't really let you get out of shape...
Look out - trouble is on the way...wish you the best with the wrestling bro, you can do lots of $hit, lol.
cp: Rollin' with guys ain't teh best, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do ;) hehe. Thanks for the well wishes.
Danny Boy: I am going to need MAX endurance in everything here (from previous experience) and I know that when I train for max strength, I have very low endurance. In short, I will die in practice.
Lady: Hey thanks, I have been doing lots of basketball and track. It'll be ok methinks.

10 lb plate workout with Troy, a wrestleing buddy. Did bent over lat raises, and front raises with them. Did both twice in sets of 10.
Today, I got a taste of where my limits are placed. Too bad those limits are gonna get their asses kicked and pushed farther away. I just have this mentality that I can't be stopped. I know it sounds cocky, but when I go full bore on something, I DO it. If I can't, it's the result of my body not being able to do what my Mind wants it to do. So then I just get stronger, faster.
DIET
Meal1: 1 glass gatorade
Meal2: 1 slice breakfast pizza, 1 carton choc milk, 1 bottle ae strawberry milk.
Meal3: Regular lunch
Meal4: 1 1/2 glass of gatorade, 2 glasses of milk, 3 hamburgers w/ cheese and catsup, 1 tuna sandwich, said **** it, ate rest of tuna in package.
I probably need to eat more protein and food in general than this. I just got everything organized for tomorrow, will do pulling body through space exercises ( like ones found in our HELLACIOUS wrestleing practices.) Will also play bball. No fat can even touch me at this point, and what I already have on me is being destroyed. I WILL BE CUT.

I really want to get some pictures on here, always lookin for teh opportunity. Been getting more definied + enduranced + stronger, bigger, whole bit. Size gains should stop now, but def. + endurance should hit teh roof. That or I'll die. One of the two.
Didn't go in early today, failed to wake up. Was pissed without my morning basketball session.
Had track. Regular stretching + exercises done rapidly to ensure I'm completely soaked before I go outside lol. Freezing wind is teh suckage.
After throwing, the coach had a new, fun way to torture us. We have a 40-45 degree incline ramp at our school, about 60-70 feet. Started at bottom, did sprints. Then, did bear walk up it. Then crab walk. Then wheel barrows (buddy holds feet, you walk up it with your hands). Damn.

Very good workout today. I'm gonna find out where my limits are, and I've found them in my shins. Had to stop basketball today. Could barely walk. Sat down and when I stood up the pain forced me down again. Insides of my lower shins and calves feel like I've ripped them from the bone, and the stress fractures are killing from my 255 lb frame. I'm not running in track for a while, that's for sure.
So, that's where my pussass legs give. Where will the rest of me fail? Gonna find out, and break those barriers.

damn dont you just hate them shin splints?
Madame Lifter: Yes, they hurt me pretty badly.
Coke: Thanks and pics first opportunity!
Gal: Thanks bro.
Chubrock: They kill, don't they?
cp: Big thanks to you man, bench is prideful for me.
Canadian: Thank ya.
Ryu: Hey how's it goin'? Yeah, I didn't know the ****ers existed 'till they kicked me in teh face lol.
Well, I talked to the docter up in Des Moines, and he says I should def. quit track. He says the nosebleeds are my body's way to telling me it can't handle what I'm doing. Also said that shin splints are severe, and I can't run for 2 week at least, meaning no basketball or track. :( :(
I like basketball, track I can handle, but basketball will resume when I can. I hate to quit, but my health is suffering.
He says lifting is good though. Good. If he told me to quit that, I would call him an asshat and walk away. He just said me running with my bw is a bad deal, even though I'm not fat, I'm just big. He said I'm running myself ragged over and over.
This pisses me off greatly. I don't want to quit. I want to work my ass off. I still will, but with weights and build the cardio up when I can.
Went in early today as usual. Was spotting a friend when both nostrils exploded with blood. Bled for 10 minutes, went home. Probably shouldn't have driven. Made it though. A checkup is scheduled for tuesday. Maybe he has to increase my bp medicine.

Try getting your cardio in on the elliptical or bike. You could even try some swimming if you've got access to a pool.
Just sit back and ponder this more...you don't have to quit the stuff you like, try eating more fruit and vegetables for the nose bleeds - I know it will help some.
Chuby: No pool access for a while yet, but there are bikes in the weightroom. Will have to hit them up, thanks.
Coke: The doc and my grandparents are kinda makin' me quit track. I like it, but not enough to keep smashing my shins down when running. Thanks for the advice man. I eat enough salad to kill a horse :)
Thanks for being supportive guys.

Take it easy man. It's better to quit for a week or two with no pain than to quit for the rest of your life in lots of pain. If you need to take it easy, then take it easy and don't worry about it.

hope it all works out man. I get serious shin splints when I run. Some time off might not be a bad thing.
PizD: Hey, I knew I felt some smartassy vibes when I opened this! Lol
Crip: Thanks alot dude. I feel the same way. Thanks for the dose of sanity. :)
cp: Thanks for droppin' in. Oh, I think it'll all work out. Just my body having some problems adjusting. I'll have to ease more into it. Probably be back at basketball friday :) Then I'll feel great. Sounds like you have the same deal I do.
Woke up last night with bloody nose. Had 3-4 minor ones yesterday. It's alot, but realize when I get one, I get alot because it takes a while for my nose to heal (but not teh muscles, and that's what's important, right?). I rubbed my nose and it bled lol. Checked bp yesterday, it's normal. Just gotta get the nose healed and it's all good.
Sorry I haven't been dropping by everybody's journals lately, just been busy as ****....bleeding to death and such ;)
No nosebleeds as of yet today. Have to go bowling to show some people how she be done ;) and I didn't have school friday, which is why you didn't see a loooong workout post ending with something like "after i nearly killed myselef, i went home to work forever" lol. Doing fine today.

get those bleeds under control, we don't want to lose you!
cp: None today, it's healing nicely. Stress is way down. bp was 143/76 today. Normal for me, but a little too high. Shin splints don't hurt anymore, but I jogged for 30 sec and they came back lol so ****. I read it'll take about 2-3 weeks for them to heal. So I gotta wait. I'm 100% sure bp and bleeds were due to high ass stress, so they'll stop soon. THanks for bein' concerned and caring.
PizDoff
03-27-2005, 06:09 PM
dude! rest for at least two weeks and let your shin splints heal!!
Yeah, that's the plan man. Had to chase some dogs down in the hunt today and they didn't bug me, but if I'd have pushed it, I know it would've bothered me.
High bp isn't causing bleeds. It's 130/70 and 122/66 today. What was causing them, IMO, is the basketball to the nose incident a week or so ago, and it just didn't get a chance to heal. I'm almost recovered, just gotta give the shins all this week and most of next. Docter appointment tuesday. Staying with mom tomorrow night, no internet there so update will come tuesday.
Lifting in the morning! UPPER BIOTCH! Peace for a while everybody!

I guess I'll suggest the same thing to you that I did when my oldest got his teeth knocked out with a baseball. Your supposed to catch balls with your hands and not your face.
J/K like everyone else said. Take a little time to heal. It's not the end of the world.

Since lent ended, I was able to drink pop last night. Drank a bottle of md right before bed. DUMBASS ME! Finally fell asleep at 12:30am or later. Woke up at 5am, nose bleeding. Fun times.
My mom's friend used to be an EMT, and she thinks I somehow fractured or broke my nose with the basketball. I have a weak nose anyway. Now it has to heal and I'll bleed for a while she said. Just what happens to some people.
Cardiologist appt. tomorrow, later everybody and sorry I didn't have time for journals!
EDIT: played bball this morning....walking, no jumping bball lol. But still fun as I managed to steal the ball twice and make 6 points. Diet was good, going to start posting it again.

Milk Man: Thanks dude and you're not weak by any means. Who stays with me on teh box squats, aye?
Canadian: Thanks man. You still started lifting 2-3 years earlier than me, so you'll get it before 17 I think. It's a good longterm goal I think.
Coke: Hey I appreciate the words of kindness from teh beast! I strive for pr's constantly.
Miss Lady: Thanks for the compliment!
I saw the doc yesterday. He said he wasn't hearing those sounds he'd been hearing from my heart anymore, meaning everything's under control now. He wants me to lose weight (good thing I'm cuttin' lol!). Problem is I've actually gaiend weight because of the muscle gains. I weighed in at 250. At a diff. hospital I weighed 255. Diff stuff I guess. Bf today was 22%. But I added a hafl inch to my height before I measured it on the machine and that's why the bf is higher. I'm 5'10 or '11. Plus easter didn't help lol.
So in other words, I'M FINE :) . Everything's going well. Lifted this morning, LOWER

I am a lazy SOB about posting diet these days. But here she is:
Meal1: 1 carton choc milk, 1 small carton juice, 1 cinnamon role (i'm a bad, bad boy)
Meal2: 2 salads with 1 ladle ranch each + shredded cheese and sunflower seeds. 1 carton choc milk too.
Meal3: 4 cups (estimate) mountain dew, 1 hotdog w/ bun and catsup (special day in chem)
Meal4: 1 bottle sierra mist
Meal5: 1 32 oz gatorade, 2 servings flavored rice, 2 servings ravioli
Not getting enough water dammit. Must fix that. Today was something of a refeed, tomorrow will be back to hardcore CUTTING lol. Well, as hardcore as I get.
Tomorrow's lifting will be UPPER.
GOOD NEWS: One of the exercises I've had to stop because I outgrew it was db press. They have new db's in the weightroom. Hehhehe, been waiting for this day a looong time.

Yeah, powerlifting (wide stance, low bar on traps) versus olympic lifting styles (narrow, high). I myself squat a hybrid, with low bar position and a medium width.

Hello memebers of WBB. Haven't posted sat because I was....highly intoxicated fri night and asleep most of yesterday lol. Had an all nighter and slept in my car at a friend's party. Hope it didn't kill friday's workout results. Feel great right now.
That 225x10 for x2 really pumped me up for tomorrow's workout. Had alot of meat today, and plentya gatorade. Only dirty thing was a strawberry ice cream bar. Some pizza, but it was Jack's so not too bad. Protein being teh key in everything. Read muscle mag because I needed some laughs seeing a 9hr "arm blitz". Started running again in basketball today, played very well. Kid tried to run me over. He got flattened well and couldn't get up for 5 min. Lesson there: Don't run into me when you're 80some lbs lighter than me. Shins feel good. Some slight discomfort, nothing remorely to what it was 2-3 weeks ago.
Overall, things going very well for me :)

Been workin' on the farm and had a cheat day yesterday, consisted of eating some ICE CREAM!!!!!!! Ahhh, sinful. About to watch the pistons whoop the heat. Funny how I care about bball when 2 months ago it was useless bs to me lol. LOWER tomorrow morning. Feel rested and ready to throw some poundages around.

Yes ma'am. Someone who'd do this is either stupid, on drugs, or a combo. Going to bring some friends along for backup in case he has friends. Otherwise, it's me and some idiot.
He must not know me. I haven't had to fight anybody around here for years. Had a huge 9th grader blindside me in 8th grade, and he went to the hospital with a broken nose and 1 missing tooth.

Way to take the anger out on the weights. I played a little bit of ball in college, just for fun and to stay in shape. I could jump high(I could grab and hang on the rim from standing flat foot) @ 5' 10. I held my own on rebounds/defense, but not much of a shooter.

Knew this was going to be something that would carry through the whole workout, so I quit. Played basketball like **** too. Bad day I guess. BTW, when I don't mention bball, I still played for an hour like always, but forgot to mention it. If I lift, I play.
Now, this lifting crap. I know I can't expect these nice gains I've been getting to continue forever, for various reasons. But today just disappointed me. My diet wasn't too bad the days before, I had ALOT of sleep the night before, and just took a 5 day break. Only been doing it for a month or so, so can't have burned out yet. But it is high intensity.
What are my options? Go to 5-6 reps? 15? Lift every other day? This has been working nicely until now. Will check bf tomorrow. Staying steady at 20% for 3 weeks now. Down alot from start. I've been on a sort of bf maintinence diet for a while, making gains (I can't quit lol). Just because I haven't posted diet, doesn't mean I'm eating crap though. Still doing well on it, just too lazy and uniterested to do it.
Don't let this stifle your suggestions any, but I just remembered I've been under alot of stress this past week. That could be it.

Lol, the poor guy - :D
It may have served you better to go for 255 x 5 or so on the flat bench but you are doing pretty good...might be time to organize a split and hit those body parts at least once a week, just do some good ole experimentation bro.
Admiral: :( ;)
CoCoa: Yeah, I've kind of loosened up on organization the past month huh? Well, there are some good lifts I've stuck with religiously, the ones I enjoy alot. I've been progressing well lately. I decided today I was most likely going out for football next year, so mass would be needed as well as speed and dexterity. Mass isn't so great for wrestleing.
Think I should do a speed/mass routine, then directly after football (a ways off anyhow) go back to this? All answers appreciated guys.
BTW, for now it's working sets 2x5, a big enough shock, yet not so demanding so my body can catch a break somewhat. Still upper lower. Tomorrow being lower. I didn't do lower today due to knee hurting last night. "**** screwing my knee over," I thought.
But after school I said to Hell with it and did some dumbass mini workout lol

I've had a long week and crap guys. Crashed the ol car into a deer, didn't even hit my bumper because the ****er HIT MY GRILL AND NOT EVEN THE BUMPER! It sucks.
I haven't been lifting the rest of this week and will begin after school again untill I get my car back (shouldn't be too long). 2x5 working is what I'll sticks with for a while.
The cutting has been going ok. I will test tomorrow, I've been high on protein lately. I just have lost my appetite (pun intended) for cutting. I'm not where I want to be, and I think I need some more motivation to get off of this fat maintinence diet where I'm staying at 20%. I've never stayed at the same bf for so long before.
I've been terribly busy as you can imagine, and I think things are settling down some so I can start back in on stuff. Later guys.

Coke: Hey, you always know what to say. Thanks for the props, I'm just stumbling around in the deep trail you've blazed.
My legs felt worse off this morning then they did yesterday, mainly because of basketball yesterday. So legs would've been suicidal and not over 200 lbs. So I listened to my body and finished up my UPPER that had been cut short yesterday. Man, I'm busy as Hell these days guys (and lady).

Prom was pretty fun. My date looked gorgeous, and we had (just an estimate) 30000000000000000000 pictures taken by a myriad of people. We danced alot, and shenannigans at the prom was amusing. After prom kinda sucked, as it was fairly boring. There weren't that many games. But we did have a hypnotist there, and I almost died watching my friends hypnotized. It ranks in about the top 3 of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life.
I found out that I really like Anne. She's had some ****ty boyfriends, and I want to be good to her so that we'll end up going out and well... just having a great time. There are few girls in this school who are worth dating, and she's one of them. I'm gonna give her a call tonight.
I'm going to see if I can get those prom pictures up, and if I can I will also get some muscle shots in.
I got to bed at 5:00 this morning, and woke up past 3. I feel AWFUL. There are alot of sicknesses around here these days, and prom was just the catalyst to get them to spread to moi. I took a hot shower a while ago, and it has helped some. Wasnt able to chore today, and haven't eaten anything at all. Lifting may not be wise tomorrow. But we'll see. Anne is sick too, but not nearly as bad.

cp: hey bro, thanks for stoppin' in. :)
LL: Thanks for your kind words, I think you've pegged me. My last gf sucked. My intention is to treat this new prospect with something she's not had: respect, attention and genuine character. Thanks for the well wishes!
I tried to go to school today, but after eating breakfast I hurled everywhere for about 3-4 minutes. So, not wanting to do this in front of the school, I decided to go home.
Will call Anne tonight, and see about taking her out sometime this week.
Lifting would've been detrimental to me, as I've just now been able to eat something that didn't....get UN-eaten.
The news on the gf front be....GOOD.
I just got off of the phone with her after about 20 mins. She was the most receptive and sweetest I've ever talked to her. She's pretty cool. She says she'll try to get up in the morning to play bball with "teh crew" (me and like 10 friends) so, we'll see. She must like what she sees with my shirt off, because she has warmed to me. Like I said, if it's possible, pics of prom and muscle ones r comin'. In case you can't tell, I'm happy. She's great. She is as active as I am! Plays sports and gets hurt almost constantly lol. As accident prone as I am.
This morning in bball I layed another of my good friends out. I came down from a jump and my foot landed on his right before we both made a spring for the ball. Most of my weight came down on my right elbow, which is kinda ****ed now. But I saw that I was going to land on his knees, so I made my elbow pay for it. It still had him down for about 5 min. Pretty sure I would've crushed/snapped something of his.
Needless to say, I feel better. I plan on LOWER tomorrow. BAM!
Lifting didn't go so good today, since I'm still recovering. But hey, it'll all be good soon ;) . Not much to talk about today.

yeah sorry I've been mia, I've been neglecting the journals. Gob job on the cut, now get huge!
I'm as guilty or more as you dude. Thanks. Tomorrow will be big for me, as I'm nearing 400x5x2 on seated rows, I expect to be there by the end of next week...OR ELSE. Bench, I'll hit 280 up again. I have a feeling I'll be able to do at least one set of x5. We'll see. Better check some journals.........
EDIT: Checked some, harassed Galileo in general....yep, pretty much covers everything ;).
I should also mention I got up at the crack of dawn this morning and cooked my mommy a complete breakfast.

Good job, now go cook me a steak and bring over your shinebox when you're done!
Lucky sob, got the cousin involved now - that will rock!!...super parallel squats man.
cp: Yes, mother.

BWx10 I always do this at the end as a kind of post-exhaustion mechanic. I like to do them. My cousin only did 5 lol but he's just started seriously for the first time.
Overall, a fantastic workout. Improvements on all that could be improved. My cousin is a great partner and he listens and doesn't argue too much ;). I told him not to give a **** about weight the first time, just form and from then on to add the 5 lbs I've been doing like forever. Also told him to gorge on meat and get lots of sleep. Gonna make this kid strong.

lol -- kick your cousin's ass! Make him load all of your plates too!
Damn dude, you about to break the seated row cables again. That is sweet about the cousin. Can't you guys use bb's for the curls and shoulder presses?? I know you don't be accepting limits and $hit - :D
Mixmasta: Lol his mom came over last night and I said,"where's matt?" and she said he was asleep! At 7 at night! Today will be worse :evillaugh:
Coke: Lol thanks dude. it's a new cable, so we'll see. It's the db presses we can't do anymore. And bb curls are most likely in my future.

nice workouts man. to think i thought that i might catch up to you. do you deadlift at all?
Thanks man. About deads, I strongly advocate to all who are healthy enough to do them to do so, but about a year ago I caused a hemherroid or 2 doing them (minor, as they only flare up when I **** up). I can do them, I'd just have to slowly build and slowly build some more. Do you think I should start again, but slowly?
Ahh, the good ole days. But ****, I was only doing 315x10 max on a good day, so it was nothing special.
Wow, I've WORKED MY ASS OFF TODAY. I won't bore you, but from the time I got home (after LOWER) I worked untill almost an hour ago. Hard. So much to do. An old man with big ideas and little endurance running things. Lol, that's how she goes.

Coke: Thanks bro.
I've decided that since 55's are the only db's available (heaviest we got) I'll just do 1 more rep per set untill something else presents itself.

BWx10 haha, just for fun I guess.
3 coaches, secondary wrestleing, head wrestleing, and head football coaches were watching me the whole time. Hmm...
This was a great workout, and I'm sooo tired. Time for a couple hours of chores!!!!!
Ugh. Feel so tired, kinda hungry (may track something down) and my right wrist is hurting. Minor though. I'm just kinda....tired and content :)

Again, nice workouts. If you think you can handle the deads without hurting yourself again, I would say go for it. I love em and hate em at the same time.
Sweet effort there, especially on them seated rows and tri extensions - props on the pr's.
Thanks guys, and I may start doing deads again. Very lightly and progressing slowly of course. LOWER today, hope my cousin can handle it!
Ok, my lazy bastard of a cousin has pissed me off. 2 days now he hasn't lifted, the first I can understand, I've kicked his ass in the weightroom. Today, NO, he didn't even tell me he wasn't lifting and was at school today. I saw him in the MCD'S parking lot after school. I'm calling him before I go to mom's tonight and giving him a little piece of HELL. He promised he'd stick with it, the little bitch.

EDIT: I forgot, but I feel I need to mention and ask why, even after setting consecutive records, the next day after all of these workouts, I feel as though I haven't done ****, absolutely no DOMS. WTF? Shouldn't this happen when the shock's worn off and I need to switch it up? But that can't be it because I'm still making great gains. Help?
Going to mom's for fishing and ****, won't be back 'till sunday. Later all!
You are a natural at this but may have drivin cous into the ground, lol - he'll be alright...fine lower body day dude.

great work SW! Congrats on the PR and such!
Coke: Thanks bud, just trying to make him something better than he is. I was at least.
Lady: Hey m'lady, don't be a stranger lol. And thanks to you.
Well, this weekend I had a blast with fishing and staying at my best friend's house, while watching every start wars movie ever made. Also 3 dvd's I hadn't seen before. It's been a GREAT weekend, and tomorrow will be a good day hopefully. I can't wait to tear into 280 on the bench. I've had my rest....now for the test!

I won't be SW...at least I'll try not to...a limited amount of computer time makes it hard to get on but I'll be on whenever I can! (and I'll always make a stop here!)
cp: Hey man, you'll always have deads on me. Squat's won't progress fast, but they'll come steadily!
LL : :) That's awesome. You know I won't miss yours, either lol. It's great to have ppl's support around here.
Stupid cousin said he had an injury, and that's why he didn't lift. I told him to tell me next time so I'd understand and not think he's a slacking little bitch.

210x3 here I went to about a 3 inch more in grip on the bar. It was the advisory of said friend who said I was flaring my elbows and getting my back involved. I thanked him and will start back at 200 with the new more narrow grip. I don't care about weight as long as form is respected and the exercise is preformed correctly.
Overall, a pretty good workout. Cousin and friend followed me closely, and the new head football coach is breathing down my neck when he saw me for the first time in the weightroom about playing lol.
Coach knows a good thing when he sees it, no joke bro...great workout - Impressive as always!!
