which is better, seems like yams have alot more carbs? Are they better for you than sweet potatoes? Does it make a difference? Am i thinking too much? :confused:

sweet potatoes becuase they are high in vitamin a and potassium. Also has higher amounts of vitamin c then a yam. less sugar then a yam too. Yam's aren't bad but sweet potatoes are better :)

Yams aren't generally available in the US. A real yam is about as big as a human head. Many things are marked "yams", but they aren't really yams. They're all sweet potatoes, so for all practical purposes, it's two names for the same thing.
