View Full Version : steroids for facial change?
I will probably get flamed for this but would there be any point in taking steroids with the hope of getting a more masculine looking face? I have terrible ****ty genes and a thin face, barely visable cheek bones, small jaw, small chin etc. inherited from my father's side so I am almost as unhappy with that as anything else in my appearence. Of course I am willing to get back into lifting weights and give it my full dedication, to build up my physique (something I have been meaning to do anyway). Would it have the desired result on my face?

No. If you're fully grown, it won't do a damn thing.
Doesn't do a damn thing to womens' faces, either, regardless of what 99% of steroid users believe.

Your face will fill out of its own accord as an ancillary effect once you begin gaining weight as a result of working out.
I'm afraid your bone structure is determined by genetics, can't do anything about that.
btw, I don't take steroids (having only begun lifting a year ago).

Body fat has the most effect on your face, in terms of bringing out your cheekbones, chin, etc. I think the best way to get what you want is to get leaner.

If you want a big fat moon face take plenty of steroids. Like 2 grams/week for 10 weeks.
Now at 30 I wish I had my skinny pre-workout, pre-juice, pre-60lbs of mass added; face of a 19 year old.

You want a neandertal face? Do HGH.
"You want a neandertal face? Do HGH."
more info please.
As far as getting leaner, i'm 6ft 3in, 165lbs.
..and to the whoever says steroids don't change your face how can you explain this? (i got it off a website advertising steroids for bodybuilding, it didn't even mention facial change).

Dude you do enough test and take no anti-e and your face will puff up like a 10 cent balloon! You will have what most commonly is referred to as MOON face it's not pretty and makes you look like a chubby kid whos spent too much time in the candy store. The change you see in the picture is the result of getting lean after being bloated up like a camel!

Ummm steroids... isnt why that guys face changed. Its BODYFAT that made his face change.
True some steroids can assist perserving muscle, so you can maintain more muscle while dieting. But thats nothing to do with why that guy's face changed.
He got leaner (with or without steroids) and the tan makes you look leaner too. He was already well built underneath the fat before.
Rarely HGH has made some people have facial changes such as bone growth. But those people were probably on obscene amounts of HGH and happen to have some growth potential left in their bones which the HGH stimulated.
If you're that interested in facial change see a plastic surgeon, b/c the changes from steroids are uncontrolled at best, and often undesireable.

Be happy with it or see a plastic surgeon.
