It seems to me like weight gainers are just the same as everything else but with different serving sizes. My scoop for just normal protein is almost 7x smaller than a scoop of gnc's weight gainer which whould be around 700-800 calories. So what would be the difference in using 7 scoops of normal protein appose to one scoop of gnc? I'll use atlarge as an example.

Opticen
Serving Size: 90g
Calories: 323

Nitrean
Serving Size: 30g
Calories: 110

90/30 = 3
3 x 110 = 330

So basically what i'm asking is are there any weight gainers with a lot of calories but without the huge serving size?

If you're looking to use a smaller serving size, just don't use as much powder.

First off, you can't say because the calories are = its the same thing. Different blends, different ingredients, and different macros.

So anyways, why not just take less?

what exactly is your beef, are you saying you're too lazy to scoop out a few extras calories for a weight gainer?

I think I know the concern and it is one that I had when I was younger and needed things to gain weight, lol. You have to drink a lot of friggen liquid to knock off one serving. The point that others have made is valid - don't use an entire serving at once. No law states you can't spread it out across the day.

But for more insight, forget the weight gainers and just eat more protein/brown rice/oatmeal, etc.
