Whats a good cutting diet look like? I know for bulking you want high protein/low carbs. So, for a cutting diet would you want high carbs/low protein or what?? And how many calories should you have in comparison to a bulking diet??

You primaly need high protein. Then it's your choice:med fat/low carbs or med carbs/low fat.Of course you need to reduce your intake by 500 calories below the maintainance levels.

i heard say that to lose fat while losing the least possible muscle you would have to get a high % of your cals from fats.
seems unlogical to me though.

Because all the dieticians propose a high carb/low protein/medium fat diet.(60/15/25)

Wizard- You have said "You primaly need high protein. Then it's your choice:med fat/low carbs or med carbs/low fat" and "the dieticians propose a high carb/low protein/medium fat diet.(60/15/25)". Those are almost complete opposites. Which do you think is right?

I agree. That seems pretty weird that to lose fat you should eat fat.

High fat diets are just one of many ways to diet.

read up on it and the various others and make up your own mind which you would prefer to do.

If you can don't have cravings while cutting, then med carb/low fat
If you have cravings while cutting, then med fat/low carb
I prefer the med carb/low fat though eventhough now I'm under a 50-25-25/pro-fat-carbs
