Hi I am relatively new to these forums and couldnt find a good answer to this.

What kind of foods should i be eating before and after running on the treadmill if il trying to lose fat? ive been running 1-1.5 miles with walking before and after. im trying to raise that to 2-3 sometime soon.

how much carbs? what kinds of sources? (ww bread,fruit,oatmeal,etc?)
how much protein? what kinds of sources?(shake,chicken,beef jerky,etc?)

what is your goal as far as working out is concerned? my guess is that your new years resolution was to get into shape and that is what you are doing. am i right?

i'm 5'9" 160 lbs
im a skinny guy with all my fat on my chest, lower abs, thighs. i want to shed all this extra baggage, especially my man booobies.
ive been running 1.5-2 miles on the treadmill at 6mph, and walking .25 at 4 mph to warm up and cool down. this is 3-4 days a week.

my main goal right now is to cut the fat, and then put on some lean muscle mass. ive been doing pushups and crunches. and all i have to lift is a barbell with around 75lbs of weights, and one dumbbell.

does anybody have advice on what i should eat before and after cardio, and when?
and any recommended exercises i could do with the equipment i have?
