Going to keep cutting down to 6-8% bodyfat, or whenever I start to see serious vascularity during tension somewhere other than my arms - preferably around the same time my lower abs start to show.

Great transformation, man. However, you're in the wrong forum: pictures go in the pictures forum, to be found here:

Just a warning in case the thread is moved.

Hey man, great job on the transformation. Do u think u could post your diet for me? I'm gunna start a cut in a about a week, and I have been trying to put together a good diet plan. To see yours would definetly help.

FenianIrish

Yeah - diet is simple:

< 10g carbohydrates per day.

Which basically equates to me eating tons of the following things:

Coffee w/ Splenda and whipping cream
Cans of tuna in oil w/mayo and all that other crap
Steak
Cans of sardines
Cans of salmon
Smoked salmon
Omelettes
Hundreds of dollars worth of Cobb salads from TGIFriday's
Hot dogs
Cucumbers w/blue cheese or ranch
Fresca, diet sprite, TAB (TAB is so F'ing delicious)
Cans of smoked oysters
Hamburger / egg scrambles

At the bar:

Vodka and Club Soda
Rum and Diet Coke
Whiskey and Water
Hot Wings (all it is is Chicken, butter, tobasco)

No carb loading was ever done.

So, you were jst doing Ketosis without the carb cycling?

AdmiralDan

nice work, but please pull your pants up a little next time

FenianIrish

... or you can feel free to avoid looking at my junk, pops.

FenianIrish
01-12-2005, 05:54 PM
Yeah, ketosis full time. Like I said, after the first week or two of energy crash my body seemed to normalize and function just as before.

Ketone strips are a must, by the way, and are instant notification that you're "doing the right thing."

Any (noticeable) muscle loss?

looking much better...did you lose any muscle dieting down? just curious because in your first shot you like you are in between 15-20%...and the second shot 10-15%..and the math doesn't add up..so I'm just trying to figure it out...by the way, you're almost there...a little more weight loss and you'll be ripped..good luck..I know dieting sucks

I'm not sure if I had much loss of muscle mass, as I was pudgy enough that I couldn't really see much definition anywhere.

As far as my 1RM weights - everything has gone way up since I started lifting (again) seriously in November. Keep in mind that I'm spending 12-15 hours a week in the gym and sleeping 8 hours a night and keeping the diet extremely strict.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll post some more pics in March or whenever I hit my goal.

Great work bud - keep it up.

Honestly I wasn't able to really make a good comparison of strength pre and during (because, well, I'm not done) keto-diet. I started lifting again about the same time I started the keto thing, so, my 1RMs have all gone up. This doesn't say much, as my body wasn't really conditioned previous towards lifting.

That being said, 1RM went way up. Arm and overall size went down - highly likely that bodyfat was just padding my measurements initially anyways.

good job man, 30 lbs in 2 months is impressive. what kind of hot dogs are u eating? dont they have lots of carbs?

Tafman

edit, i checked hotdogs, they are like 2 carbs each, but the fat is high, and i dislike the tofu or turkey ones.

"3. Keep Thinking Positive"

that is about ME...not about YOU.

Why should i think positive about your physique? that is about ME and what I need to do for myself not about your assinine comments about people staring at your junk because your pants are so low that you could your ass crack from behind

Looking good bro.

I actually think its a good idea to take the pics the way you did. That way you can see how much the belly is droping. Its a weightlifting forum, people should expect to see someone in their skivveys or whatever.

Now lets keep this on topic.

From one short pasty white Irishman to another: Nice progress for 2 mos. Like GIS I'm not a big fan of keto, but you can't argue w/ results. I'm assuming you're going to bulk now?

FenianIrish
01-31-2005, 09:04 AM
I'm going to continue cutting down to 6, 7, 8 (or so) BF%. Then hang out for a couple months maintaining that... and then start a bulk.

Ok, seriously, pull the pants up. Do you just take pictures that way to piss people off? Your progress is really awesome so far, you look much better now. Have you changed your diet at all or are you still doing low carb?
