I am currently hitting 3000 whole food clean cals,

If I was to add a weight gainer to my diet and lets say it was 1000 cal a serving, would that benefit me in gaining noticable size? or would it be a waste

1000 calories is one heck of a serving...

if your on a bulk then 3k calories might be on the low side, so yes, adding an extra 1k calories would help. Just make sure they fit into your diet plan.

if you can't eat anymore otherwise than yes. but if you can eat more food, do that first to increase cals

you would gain more weight.

As for how much of that will be fat gain. be hard to tell to you do it. But if you do not mind fat gain. then go for it. but at same time, trianig routine allowing you should gian more muscle as well.

I believe he means that yes you can gain good muscle mass from it, but you will also gain more fat, as aposed(sp?) to eating more clean, healthier foods.
